@Isaac if you are making an effort to reply to a 3 year old comment you should have done a research before you write such bull****. The first team who ever play in the world cup and was knocked out without a defeat was Cameroon in 1982 in Spain.
I was in the stadium, had my eyes closed for the penalty cuz I was so scared. Then everyone’s cheering I was looked up at the big tv and was so happy. Still remember walking out the stadium all the cars are honking their horns, everyone’s singing. Went to Maccas and the noise of the singing and cheering is deafening. I was like 10 years old. Great memory there.
Was privileged enough to be there too - still to this day the greatest sporting event I've been to. I never thought I would see the All Whites go to a World Cup in my lifetime let alone be at the game that sent them there. The final 5 minutes were as stressful and glorious as any 5min of sports watching I will ever have. After the game as we walked out I remember briefly talking to a security guard for the arena who had done many games there across obviously cricket and rugby - he said the noise from the stadium was twice as loud as anything he ever had experienced previously. What a night to be alive!
Well done to NZ, I watched this game in Bahrain was like 14. We had all just finished our weekend Football Training and had it on a massive screen. It was absolutely gutting when he missed that penalty (it was crap tbf).
Perú, you guys need to see this......you guys need to be focused if they want to return to a WORLD CUP! this is a match that can change a football story, is New Zealand ready to return to the FIFA World Cup after 8 years or La Blanquirroja's 32 years waiting can be overcome? your impressions, please!
