this is the best video showcasing how the Liebherr Lr 1600 is constructed. However please choose a better background music next time. im almost deaf after watching the entire 20min video
Thank you for this wonderful video about the construction of a Liebherr LR 1600-2, it is such a gigantic effort that you have to make to assemble the crane, I was there years ago in my home country when such a crane was erected to install an 85 m high wind turbine, I was there every day and looked at the whole thing, unfortunately I couldn't look at the crane directly or sit in accompanied, but being there was everything, an experience.
would have been a great video if it was for the over powering wrong choice of music that sounds like it belongs in a Planetarium.... we are watching a crane video, not a Steven hawking's Solar system documentary
Outstanding stop animation photography! Are all of these cranes 1/50 scale? I'm wanting to find some in 1/87 or HO Scale. I know of a few companies building in HO Scale.
why aren't any of your tiny workers wearing hard hats? Youd better be careful, they may form a union and strike on account of dangerous work conditions. ...could you make a toy worker sit down strike video?

Hi cranedude07. I love to watch your videos. Keep it up. I live in Russia and we do not have a lot of shops where you can buy such a worthy model. But I have not amassed a small collection and I think also start doing stop movie :) I would suggest to you that you begin to shoot a series of films on the construction of its plant. I just got my lr 1600 2 and I'm reaving up the gantry. It will not come out right, I did it the way the instructions said to but it will not boom the mast down. I need help if you could give advice.
Awesome job! I always enjoy watching your videos. And I want one of these so badly! I have been away from cranes for a number of years and have fond remembrance of those days, both the good and the bad. I'm curious if you work with cranes... I ask because I see a couple of things in the videos that you could tweak... It's probably nothing, but I would prefer to share it privately with you. That way I don't look like a complete idiot to the general public. Thanks again
