Thank you for watching. The NZXT H510 Elite PC case comes as standalone PC case with smart device accessory, front RGB fans, back and top exhaust fans and cables as seen at 2:05 of the video. PC case does not come with NZXT Kraken Z63 liquid cooler which I'm unboxing at 3:18 of video, that one you will need to buy separately. Is your brother planning to build PC with NZXT PC case and NZXT liquid cooler?
Great video! I am building a new PC with the H510 Elite and Kraken Z63 and was disappointed with the instructions/manual from NZXT. Your video helped a lot!
Thank you for watching. I'm glad I could help little bit with detailed installation instructions for NZXT Kraken Z63 installing into NZXT H510 Elite PC case. One thing I should have pointed out is that in early days of Intel 12th gen and 13th gen the LGA1700 bracket was not included in NZXT Kraken Z63 package. What chipset of motherboard are you using?
@@ottomixa Right, I am using Intel i7 12700k using LGA 1700 and sadly discovered that the Kraken Z63 was manufactured before they started including the LGA 1700 mounting brackets. I was able to use the LGA 15XX brackets included though and it works fine, since I did not want to wait for a replacement part.
@@arthurvo2343 Great CPU. For my next build I'm going to also need LGA 1700 bracket to reuse my Kraken Z63 and NZXT was so kind and have sent me one. Asus Z690 motherboards are compatible with earlier LGA 1200 socket, which were bundled with earlier Kraken liquid coolers. Do you have Asus motherboard?
Thank you for watching. I like Star Wars Lego. Also recently I got Grogu baby child and some lightsabers and helmets for PC setup decoration, so stay tuned for video about that one. Do you like Star Wars collectibles?
@@curryt4 that is really nice piece in your collection. It has all the good figures. I hope Lego will re-release the Death Star and I will be able to decorate my PC set up with it. In meantime I will try with the Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter, haha.
@@curryt4 White LIAN-LI O11 Air Mini vs NZXT H7 Flow matte white would cause me difficulties on which one to choose. But because I like the glass in front, like on NZXT H510 Elite, my next build will probably be with NZXT H7 Elite. Installing Star Wars minifigures behind the side glass is great idea! Thank you for bringing it up :-)
okay, so my front lower fan on this case and this exact Kraken stopped working. I replaced the fan and now I cant get the pump to cool down anymore. I dont know what the issue is and i wish someone would reach out to video chat with me and help me solve this problem because all my work and stuff is on this computer and this is how my son plays games with me when he visits. I just want this fucking thing to make my CPU fucking low again but it stays at 99 now! its ridclous!
Thank you for watching. I'm sorry to hear you have troubles with your Kraken cooler and pump. I suggest contacting the NZXT support support.nzxt.com/hc/en-us/sections/360004271554-Cooling
I just bought a NZXT case with a configuration pretty similar to this one. I'm doing something wrong, but how can O sync my water cooler (deepcool) RGB with the case's RGB ? Should I plug smart device to the water pump cable ?
Thank you for watching. NZXT RGB LED strips are connected to NZXT RGB controller, which is part of NZXT H510 Elite PC case. Deepcool has its own controller for fans RGB. What model of Deepcool water cooler do you have?
Thank you for watching. NZXT Smart Hub / NZXT Control Hub is used to streamline the fan and RGB management. You don't really need it if you can manage the fan's via motherboard connectors. You need to check which fans are mounted on your used case as 3 pin fans have no PWM control so they will run at max speed constantly. If you have NZXT water cooler then you can also manage the fan's RGB as it has integrated Smart Hub with connectors for additional NZXT RGB.
Thank you for watching. Nowadays all Kraken liquid coolers would be coming with LGA 1700 bracket. I bought the Kraken before LGA 1700 and NZXT support was so kind and has sent me the bracket. What Kraken model are you planning to get?
I just got a core elite build today with this same case and cooler with a bunch of cables already run by NZXT and the radiator mounted. Powering it up all the fans work except the bottom one of the two on the front. Any idea what I’m doing wrong? Great video btw. Would have used this for sure if was building it from scratch.
Thank you for watching and for your feedback. Can you check if your bottom front fan is properly daisy chained by cable? You can notice small cable between fans at 6:03 of video with label "out" on one side and "in" on the other side.
Thank you for watching. NZXT Kraken X 63 has little bit different set of cables. The Breakout cable on X63 has only 3 cables (SATA + 3pin CPU_FAN + 1xFan), in the box you would have extra Fan Splitter Cable (1 to 3 split), which you have to connect to breakout Fan cable. I hope you managed to connect it.
@@aramisnature Possibly you might want to check following post I have made on how to connect cables on NZXT Kraken X series pump such as X63, X73 or X53: ru-vid.comUgkxkA5ZIOSfq6V707A5K0JayxR_5AMIjuTK Let me know if it helps little bit and you are able to progress.
Thank you for watching. There are pros and cons for both solutions. By having tubes / hoses / pipes at the bottom of radiator it is supposed to assure better cooling by having heat going up inside the radiator. For tubes / hoses / pipes at the top, it is supposed to assure that possible air bubble will not get stuck in the pump and completely overheat the CPU. I have chosen then second option to minimize the chance for my CPU getting burned out. I do not have any issues with cooling the CPU by radiator when tubes / hoses / pipes are at the top and cooler is providing enough cooling. Are you planning to mount Kraken liquid cooler into your set up?
Hi Jose, thank you for watching. Yeah, I did not know NZXT will release such great PC case. Anyway I have one old PC which I'm thinking to upgrade either with NZXT H7 Flow or with NZXT H7 Elite as I really like the front glass panel from design point of view and don't mind for few degrees here and there. Possibly I can do comparison video of NZXT H510 Elite vs H7 Elite, so stay tuned. Are you building new PC or upgrading old one with new PC case?
Hi, thank you for watching. Are you having both NZXT H510 Elite and Kraken Z63? Can you please check video at 6:12 and confirm your fans are placed in same way on Kraken Z63 radiator? If not you might want to unscrew them and flip them over. Let me know and we'll check on other things.
Thank you for the video! Can you please tell me what lenght of GPU can fit in this case with this setup of water cooler fans? Sorry for my bad english, and thank you!!!
Thank you for watching. Feel free to check following video where I'm installing RTX 3080 into the NZXT H510 Elite PC case together with measuring the space: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Gh4hndjr-iM.html
Thank you for watching. In video I'm unboxing and mounting NZXT 280mm radiator with liquid cooling pump. Are you building new PC or just replacing CPU fan heatsink with Liquid cooler?
So I just recently built my pc with ASRock x670E, Ryzen 7 7700X, 3080. I got NZXT x53 kraken for my liquid cooling with NZXT H510 Elite case. Fans are working fine, they are lighting up with NZXT logo on the cooler too. BUT when I insalled NZXT CAM, I can only see LED strip which comes in the case, in the lighting section. Nothing about x53 Kraken. So they stay stable yellow. I can't control em. all fans are showing up in fans section. So what to do here? I tried changing usb cable & USB 2.0 headers. reinstalling CAM software too, nothing worked so far.
Thank you for watching. I'm sorry to hear you have troubles to see your Kraken Logo and ring LED in CAM software. Have you had a chance to check other software conflicting with CAM software as per support.nzxt.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056758634-Why-is-my-Kraken-RGB-not-responding- ?
@@ottomixa thanks, so there was a wiring problem, i sorted it out, cooler fans are showing up on CAM but the cpu cooler (crown) is still static yellow LED. so strange
Hello Otto. Just wondering of getting this radiator but is it necessary? Currently just running normally fans as was wondering if i would need to switch to this or not to bother
Hi @Blyzah , the radiator is part of the CPU liquid cooler pump. If you have existing heatsink and fan for your CPU, then it is not necessary to mount the radiator, you can continue to use CPU fan and skip the part of mounting the liquid cooler radiator.
Howcome your radiator takes up the full space in the back of the fan mounting bracket but my radiator for the same exact cooler only takes up like 75% of it? (Same case as well)
@@ottomixa it is the Z53!! Didn’t even notice. Is the Z53 not made for the h510 elite? Or does it naturally take up a bit less space on the front panel?
@@Caige- Radiator on NZXT Kraken Z53 takes little bit less space on the mounting bracket compared to Z63, but it will still do the good job in NZXT H510 Elite. What CPU are you cooling with it?
Thank you for watching this step by step tutorial on how to install Kraken liquid cooler into NZXT gaming PC case. I hope you liked how I mounted the radiator of Kraken as well as how I mounted the pump and connected all the cables. Are you building new PC with Kraken Z63 water cooler?
@@ItsaNoah Thank you for watching and checking this tutorial on detailed steps how to install NZXT Kraken Z63 into gaming PC case. How long it took you to install the cooler into your case and did you face any issues?
Do I understand properly you have issues with LCD display on NZXT Kraken Z63 or you have put your own image of sad face on LCD display? In case of issue, I'm sorry to hear you have issues with NZXT Kraken Z63, for screen flickering possibly you might double check that all cables are properly connected. For PC shaking it is true that when I'm gaming and temperature is getting high, then the strong pump is shaking a bit with PC case, I have fixed it with polyethylen foam under the PC case feet. That helped to reduce the vibration noise.
That does not sounds good, you might try following troubleshooting: support.nzxt.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056758634-Why-is-my-Kraken-RGB-not-responding-
Ahoj Otto. Nemáš nejaký problém s chladením a prúdením kvapaliny smerom z pumpy do radiátora a opačne? Ja som zatiaľ žiadny problém nepostrehol.
Ahoj Juraj. Hi Juraj, thank you for watching. In regards of your question about orientation of the radiator and hoses on top instead of bottom. I do not have any issues with cooling of the CPU. The pump is circulating the cooling liquid through the entire radiator, so I'm not afraid about top part of the radiator staying only hot and bottom part of radiator staying only cold. Also if possible air bubble would appear, there is sufficient space on top of the radiator above the hoses and this set-up assures that bubble won't stay stuck inside of the pump on top of CPU. However both set ups have some pros and cons.
Thank you for your feedback and for watching this Kraken installation tutorial. Are you building gaming PC and installing NZXT Kraken Z63 into NZXT H510 Elite PC case or did you choose different PC case?
I noticed you routed the RGB lighting control cable from the breakout cable to the back of the case, but did plug this cable in anywhere in the case or was it unnecessary since you reused the RGB fans?
Thank you for watching. RGB lightning control cable from Kraken Z63 pump at 8:24 I'm routing to the back just for the cable management, I'm not connecting it to anywhere as it is not necessary. The front fans RGB cables are connected at 7:28 to NZXT smart device, these were connected initially to smart device, but I had to temporarily disconnect them when unmounting the bracket and mounting the Kraken Z63 cooler radiator. You can use the Kraken Z63 RGB cable to connect any additional RGB fan into your PC case. What PC case are you mounting NZXT Kraken pump to?
@@peachimarii Good job! Congratulations for good looking gaming PC set up with NZXT H510 Elite PC case and NZXT Kraken Z63 liquid cooler. What motherboard are you using in your gaming PC set up?

so im new to this, working on my first buid. i have the controller and two 120 mm fans (one for the rear and one for the top), how do i connect these fans to the controller and how do i connect the radiator fans to the controller as well? sorry but right now, im completely lost. i see the controller only has 3 inputs for fans and two for led's ...help please!
Thank you for watching. At 8:46 you can notice that my radiator fans are connected to break out cable from pump, all 2 (or 3 for NZXT Kraken Z73) are connected to one breakout cable from pump. Controller will be able to communicate to pump and then to front radiator fans. All of the radiator fans will spinning at the same time or none of them, these are not controlled individually and you can consider it as "one" cable connected via breakout/splitter cable. Are you connecting NZXT Kraken Z73 liquid cooler to NZXT H7 Flow PC case or what liquid cooler and PC case you are trying to connect?
@@ottomixa Thank you for replying. i am connecting the NZXT Kraken 53 pump to the 510 Flow. i attached the radiator fans to the breakout cable which is connected to 1 port on the controller. i will be installing 2 x 120 mm nzxt rgb fans on the two remaining ports of the controller and i hope that works....it was a little confusing since in the breakout cable only 1 end has 4 pins and the other 2 ends have 3 pins for the fan connectors, so i was no sure if i was doing something wrong.
@@zzz-lz6is happy to hear you are on on track and my video little bit helped you to install NZXT Kraken Z53 RGB into NZXT H510 Flow. I know what you mean, there are too many cables around the NZXT controller, but once it is set up it works like a charm. Please double check you connected all cables from the pump, mainly the one at 12:04 for CPU Fan connector on the motherboard. Looking forward for your confirmation that your NZXT Kraken Z53 / X53 RGB liquid pump is working as expected.
