That door on the side panel is genius for mounting 2.5” drives. Truly an extremely well thought out case. Having built my personal rig in an 011 I was amazed by the hdd bays etc, just the little things that enable a clean build. But having just built my partners new system in a H9 elite, it’s leaving lian li in the dust. Most will say it’s a clone, I say it’s a leap forward.

I almost bought O11D EVO but I decided not to buy it because steel frame obstructed the view. I’m glad that I waited for a few months. I ordered the NZXT H9 Flow immediately after saw it during CES. 🔥

@@stxrmzzz9995 H9 flow is really good man. My cpu temp barely hit 60 degree when gaming with I7 13700K 240 mm aio and 9 fans in total. I placed aio on side as intake, bottom as intake and top for exhaust. This fan speed is 600-700 rpm. I recommend both H9 flow or O11 Evo. They both are great but remember not to mount fan at rear of the case. I tried It performed worse.

@@ra4239 At least I wanted the O11 but I think I'll opt for the NZXT to be honest, it's a little cheaper I think, and I like that it doesn't have the steel frame that obstructs the view, as you say, how about it? ha ha

3 on the side have RGB and the back one is non RGB

Yeah it's a full clone. The top glass means the air has to take too many right angles turns to exit the case. The million holes mean more dust.

I prefer flow version because you get better airflow and no one looks at the top of any case so it really doesn't matter how it looks up there. But as someone who generally prefers smaller cases, I'd like to see a smaller version of this, something to rival lian li 011 mini.

Definitely agree. I actually found looking down at the top through the glass didn't look that great. You're looking at all the mount and screws. Also, for the Elite, most of the price increase is for the fans. If you don't need those, you're paying a lot for a glass top.

Technically you could do 16 fans. Top fans and side fans can both be push and pull

this is the elite version. the flow version does have mesh up top instead of glass, and is cheaper

@@apjxult no shit the top of an airflow is open, but even so with the evo u can still modify it invert it open air better for loops and u can u can rotate it if you choose to put the PC on the left side of the desk

Can actually do 16 fans! Can do push pull on the back side where the 3 factory fans come with rad install. And 6 uptop...would be pointless to do opposite where you mount rad... But people do cray sheet

I prefer the H9 Flow, cheaper, slightly better cooling solution, no glass on the top. I also get to choose my own fans. The APNX 30mm metal casing FP2 fans are excellent, comes with a reversible fans, so no cross bars! But cheaper and better alternative to Phantek D30 and Lian Li 120 Uni-fans.

The big issue with the glass top is heat, temps are higher than the O11…NZXT flow is much better

This guy confused me saying 320 here and 320 this bro the case Supports radiators up to 360mm in the top, side, and bottom panels. Fits up to 10 x 120mm fans, or 6 x 140mm fans plus 1 x 120mm fan.

Significantly. Better build quality, more thought out cable management. If you’ve built in both, in every scenario you will appreciate the H9 more. Having both a 011 dynamic XL and a H9 elite in my house it’s a bold claim, but it’s certainly true. Ps. The sheer satisfaction when you see nzxt’s front panel connector is enough to make the swap 😂 (just kidding, but a very nice feature, fat fidgety hands and f panel connectors ensure frustration) 😂

I have both, H9 Elite glass top is hotter, H9 Flow is better, but O11 is about 2 degrees better….

@@Paul-if1jq i currently have the 011 evo and was wondering on the h9 is there a way to mount fans in front? On my 011 I modded the mesh panel and replaced it with glass and spacers to get air out the sides. I do hate that metal bar down the side. Also for the top glass on the h9 does it get extreme hot?
