I have a Logitech Z623 speaker and subwoofer setup for my PC. Are you well-versed enough to know how they could compare with NZXT's offering of a speaker and subwoofer setup?
Very informative, thank you. I'm no audiophile and not in the market right now, though I do use a soundbar (Creative Labs Katana v2) and have a headset (Astro A50) but for me the telling feature to not buy and not recommend was the on/off button and volume dial being on the back of the speaker. Both are just not ergonomic. You mentioned that the speakers have a delay in turning on; my soundbar has the same issue and I solved it by telling it to be permanently active. I wonder if a similar solution might apply. Speaking of the volume knob, is it syncronised to the volume setting in Windows? That is, will it rotate when you change the volume in Windows or is it the maximum volume and the volume in Windows is a percentage?
Thanks Quentin. The volume of both the connected headset and speakers can be turned up and down with the dial on the Switchmix stand and also muted/unmuted. The volume knobs don't physically change when you adjust volume in windows.
Great sounding mic on that headset! There's far more expensive headsets with far worse sounding mics. I love the clean, simple look of everything. As long as the all important sound quality is up to scratch then looks like NZXT are onto a winner here
Headset/headphones - any with a 3.5mm jack 'should' work - My Philips headphones worked fine. Same deal for the speakers but I haven't tested any others first hand.
Did he say it was hard to switch between headphones and speakers? I spent a fraction of what these things cost and all I have to do is plug in my headphones and boom, easy to get headphones or speakers. No need to spend that much money, just need to learn how to use a brain!
No, I didn't say it was difficult switching between headphones and speakers. At the start of the video I said it is a pain switching between the two. I too have used different solutions for switching easily in the past, but it always involved some sort of input from me, this solves that and I for one appreciate the convenience. I mentioned several times during the video that the price is quite high, but you get good quality audio equipment for that cost, not just the ability to switch audio output devices easily.
@@matmynett7220it’s a pain, it’s difficult…these are the same thing I.e. they are synonyms for each other. I’m not in grade school so just because the exact words weren’t used does not mean it isn’t the same thing m8. Again I’m not a child so use that one on other children ok m8. But if you are talking to grownups you should already know this.
@@maddhatter0 Let's not turn this in to something it doesn't need to be. In the video, I was trying to show how convenient the Switchmix is for switching outputs on the fly, without having to click anything or plug anything in. I liked it, you may not...and that's fine. I've never said or stated that switching is difficult without it and meant that it had always been something that annoyed me, which has been solved with this product.
