You taught me this tune well over a decade ago Chris and i still play it now and then but i never remembered what it was called! Good to hear it properly again
@@ChrisWoodGuitarist Guitar Makossa and Bantu Lullaby might work well on the nylon string acoustic guitar. Great to hear folks playing his music, thank you!!
Hi robert, I don't really remember, but it was at least 5 years ago, if not 10 that i arranged it. The melody and bass line are simple enough, it just takes some finger acrobatics to play them together. Thanks for asking.
Not too sure. I would have picked up the tune by ear, and I may have used tab or notes just to keep on top of what to play after that, but it is played from memory now.
@@ChrisWoodGuitarist Hi Do you still have tab around. I can play the magic box by the same composer and would like this piece to go along with it. Keep safe.
@@robertthejack Hi, I don't have the tabs for this. I may have made notes for myself when learning it, but mostly, when it is in my head, i stop using sheets. I can offer you af guitar lesson for this song, if you'd like to learn it. I am teaching online through Zoom at the moment. Thanks for enjoying the video Robert.
Thanks you again. Yes, I did listen to this when I started my arrangement for guitar, just to get the right mood. The original song sounds quite different to John Williams instrumental version.
@@mariawood5784 Yes of course. Like every guitarist, John put his own style on it. Thank you again. And if you are interested, go and see the facebook page and the instagram account I opened two weeks ago (in french) called "Francis Bebey artiste (1929-2021).
@@FrancisBebey Sorry but I got my channel mixed up with my wife's channel. The above comment from Maria wood was actually from me "Chris Wood". Thanks again.
