I'm not a communist, nor a sovietophile but you just gotta admire the Red Army Choir's voice. I'm no musician either so I can't exactly describe it but there's something about the way they sing, along with the enviable unity which gives songs a unique and pleasant twist.
I unironically want our schools to play this song at least once in a while. Even though this is from the Red Army choir, this version has much more emotion and pride than the versions of the anthem that they play daily.
You listen to the national anthem every day in Canada! I never heard the national anthem of my country in school. Only during national holidays and other important events.
you hear your anthem every day in Canada? wow, even here in HK they just play the Chinese anthem during important times. (or during flag raising ceremonies in schools which take place every week or so)
The only thing is that's not the real french part, in the french version we all sing: "God keep our land, glorious and free, O Canada we stand on guard for thee O Canada we stand on guard for thee" instead LMAO The real french part (in the bilingual hymn cause in the two first lines are also french) is after "True patriot love in all of us command", we sing: "Car ton bras sait porter l'épée, il sait porter la croix, ton histoire est une épopée, des plus brillants exploits"
I disagree. I don't know the full English version of the anthem because whenever I hear it half of it is in French. I don't know the entire thing in French either.
The Red Army Choir always make anthems very powerful, they have improved the canadian anthem a lot! P.D. I am not saying the canadian anthem is bad, I just think that this version is better than most. Also, if I make any mistake spelling im sorry, English is not my native language
@@antoniocasias5545 I disagree, but I respect your opinion. Maybe I like it more because the only other version I have heard is this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uDzzMtO2rZg.html
I would love it if my school played this instead of the random rock versions or rap version. Didn't really expect anything for Canada day but thank you so much.
1776 was a big knife in the back ... and again in 1812 .. the last time you threatened to invade us was 1982.... American conglomerates own most of our resources.... So yeah as long as you got that military we are your hostages.
He’s likely going to post it next year if I had to predict, he only releases one song for each country every 6 months ish so if I had to bet he’s saving it
Can you make a video on the Icelandic folksong called “Öxar við ána”. It’s a patriotic song about Icelandic independence and I think it would fit your channel
Celebrating Canada Day is harmful to Indigenous people because it silences Indigenous voices, causing further marginalization of Indigenous communities.
@@Lead7170 Well to be fair to us brits we where tired and stressed enough. You lads had it easy at home before coming to Europe. We where getting bombed not just in battle but in our homes as well.
letsssssssssss goooooooooooo a Canadian song (I have to listen to this every day at school I am not very into the song but I am still very happy to see this on the channel)
The Canadian anthem was clearly meant to be sung as an imperial-esque song, derived from the British. It is supposed to be pleasent, blissful, and powerful. It is supposed to sound enormous and natural, advanced and environmental. Unfortunately, it took Russians to figure this out.
@@Cryseris they removed any reference to god and they changed the lyrics “in all thy sons command” to all of us in command, it doesn’t flow as well and it is needlessly altering things that were already ok.
I know a month has passed ‘n all, but I thought I’d tell you that Canada isn’t a dominion, not anymore. Canada is considered a “constitutional monarchy,” because we’re totally independent but accept the British monarch as our own. All is good, I know you mean well, only wanted to share knowledge.
Well we wouldn't have a problem accepting you into our country! (If you can get passed the imagration laws and such as it is quite a difficult procedure)
@@monkeybirthdaycake0627 Sure! Now I m studying exceedingly industrious due to my dream to be a new immigration of Canada, embracing this brilliant multicultural society, I couldn’t wait to see that! 😍
@@monkeybirthdaycake0627 the much I have disbursed is to reach the final goal that I could achieve, so no matter how hard the procedure would be, I would absolutely persist🤓
One of my closest online friends is from Canada, so I feel that I should leave a comment here as well. From Russia with respect. 🇨🇦❤⬜️🟦⬜️ L'un de mes amis les plus proches vient du Canada, je pense donc que je devrais également laisser un commentaire ici. Avec respect de Russie.
Canada is the country with the greatest PR department. Extremely brutal with the natives, interned or deported Japanese-Canadians during wartime, refused Jewish refugees, sells guns to dictatorships, and lots of other atrocities. Everything the USA did, Canada also did. And it is still seen as a "nicer" version of USA for some reason.
Nothing on French Canadians getting publicly lynched by English Canadians and being kept at lower income jobs to control them and assimilate them faster?
Because we didn’t participate in Iraq, Vietnam or any of the other Inperialist wars also yeah we did those things 50-75 years ago we are a forward marching country What country are you from Vlad? I bet you some absolute hole in the wall
POV: You are in my AP EURO class on the last day of school (We stole a mic from one of the sophmore history classes and sung the canadian national anthem loudly into it.)
@@kitcatfootisreal Nah bro we don’t care Sometimes we get called Indians (just don’t use it insultingly) but native is the term most use in passing Also don’t say aboriginals because those are are Australians 😂
