Paul has to be one of the most dynamically conscience pianists I have heard. He isn't just playing the notes, which is a fete in itself, but he understands the thought of which each piece, at any specific moment should be played. I LOVE IT.
The Piano Guys just did their own version, changing some harmonic chords and such, but that doesn't mean they did it wrong, in my opinion. Of course, it is also my opinion that I like this arrangement better!
Incredible performance, Paul. This is such a powerful piece and looks insanely fun to play! I now must start learning it so that in 40+ years I might be able to play it as you!
I see them... I even counted them, but I have trouble accepting the fact that you have the same amount of hands and finger then what I was born with!!!
you sir are like the Apollo of today's pianists ,never remove this video from RU-vid , you will be a legend in future generations like the mighty demi gods and gods of mountain olympus
Paul you always continue to amaze me. Obviously this isn't anything mear the hardest piece you play but you hit every song exactly how it should be played. Your dynamics are amazing. When I want to hear how a son I'm learning should be played I turn to your channel. Shootout from Chicago. I'm 22 and I hope to have your talent someday!
Wow..... I'm speechless, I don't usually like videos as I am mean and heartless, but that deserves over a million likes for how perfect that was, amazing 👌
This is grand!!! Too bad to hear about what happened with YT! I hope it hasn't caused further dismay. This Oh Fortuna made me feel like i was listening to the choir. Amazing dynamics leading up to forte for that needed contrast. Beautiful
Is this copyright strike the reason your recent Clair de Lune video was split up into 4 parts? I was confused when I first saw the 4 seperate videos rather than the 1 longer one (as in your op 10 no 1 one) Is the strike thing permanent? I hope not :(
Paul, is there any chance you will be allowed to upload longer videos in the future? If not, may I suggest starting a separate channel for tutorials. It's really a pain to have videos chopped up. This channel could still be used for performances as they rarely exceed 15 min.
You really should earn something from the Music Agency, it's your talent and hard work that allow them to monetize. Yet, I have a question, do you consider this piece easy, medium or hard level? It's tricky for me to say, although it has a lot of repetitive notes, it sounds (overly) refined.
Hate to say I agree. Jerks indeed - especially since copyrights are not legitimate private property as this case so clearly demonstrates. I recommend the work of Stephan Kinsella on this.
I play the piano too and I would love to learn this music. But there is a problem : I am in a first year of piano. But I play Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven !
Keep at it, if you work hard enough, and practice correctly as well as enough, you can do amazing things. I'm playing things like the third mvmnt of moonlight sonata (presto agitato), chopin's polonaise militaire, and a couple of chopin's etudes, and I've been playing for two years.
