Thanks. Its amazing how much power can be generated by burning a relatively small amount of meths. The track is as a result of many years work so it is good to see it well used.
Of the live steamers, only the Battle of Britain is radio controlled. The other live steamers are manual control. There were a couple of battery powered radio controlled locos (J72 and Class 37 from memory) which are a convenient way to marshal stock. Fosworks OMNI controllers provide an excellent range suitable for live steam as well as battery. He even supplies one which can be bound to and control up to 10 locos! My class 37 uses an OMNI 2.1. I've also got a OMNI 3.1 for a live steamer in development with one servo control for regulator and the other for the blower.
