O. Henry brings the tears to my eyes every time. I had a book of O. Henry stories, and I was enjoying just reading all of them. They were all so wonderful. And then I came to this one. What a delicious treat this one is.
After watching this movie I strongly believe that love can change everybody. It' s not a silly emotion , it's an indescribable felling which has the power to transform even a criminal to a noble man😃
The story is so beautiful😊, and the characters of the story is also fine. I love the story very much. But the last part, which I love the most, is very emotional 🥺,and great👍❤️
When I really young . I was all incarcerated in a trade school , also known as a reformatory. I remember my teacher there at the time reciting reciting the ballad of jimmy valentine to the class . It left me enthralled . I loved hearing the story as much , back than , as I do now 60 years latter .
My English text book of o.Henry brought me here and I want to tell the stories of O.Henry are just fantastic and awesome specially the Jimmy Valentine and the last leaf and many more... 😀😀😀
Thanks for posting! I have a VHS copy off the airwaves from 1985 via PBS American Playhouse. But my version is longer and called Valentine's Revenge. It includes O. Henry telling the story to a sick tortured prisoner, played by the same actor as Jimmy Valentine, and cuts back and forth from the prison to the story. The sick prisoner dies by the time O. Henry finishes the story.
