This was definitely planned from the start. They decided to keep the full version of each diff section of the song in their drafts to keep their fans & casual listeners hooked on what's coming next for their music.
I like the new version but the original one is iconic it describes what nmixx is the mix up concept plus the iconic dance break part where they get up so smoothly and the part before that haewon's bridge and lily's highnote
the "original" was just a teaser, they even say it in the lyrics. this one was the original from the start, they just cut it in half and combined it with superhero for their debut. kinda like shinee's sherlock which is clue + note or superm's monster + infinity. that's why the transition is so abrupt. but yes i agree that it is iconic
@@cinnomixso jype and nmixx may release the other version of o.o before and after the jinni's or now is jiwoo's part? i found out that o.o will have 3 versions, the original ver, baila ver and superhero ver... sorry for my english if there's a mistake:)))
1:12 Using the crowd to yell "NMIXX" right there, intentional or not, is so awesome. Crowd expects to sing the NMIXX and does and it works as such a great adlib into the new part. O.O will forever be epic and this just made it even more epic.
Not gonna say this is better or worst than the original but if this version was their debut it wouldn't have received so much hate and maybe it would have been easier for people to get into nmixx
@@rkhandle but the good thing is that now there's a version for everyone, the original version, this one and the superhero version, everybody can enjoy o.o now
I don't think their debut song was good but I think it got them A LOT of attention which is what they wanted so people would talk about them. But I feel like it devided people into two camps, people who loved the concept and people who hated it and now they're doing (what I think) they should have done from the beginning which is to just let the songs be separate but of course that would have been nothing special and people wouldn't talk about them as much as they do today. Sorry for the rant😅
If this version of O.O was really the song they use during their debut, it would've more successful than the last one. I mean, i love the other version, but version is just so dope that it doesn't make you feel like you were left in the air.
Nmixx's entire concept could've been so cool if they released "mixed" versions of their songs (like the original o.o) as title tracks ahead of the album and later released the full album including the title track, the separated individual versions, and any additional songs, and then kept following that pattern. Then whenever they released a title track, they'd garner excitement for how the mixed song would sound separated and everyone would look forward to the album.
Pixy did this with Karma (a mixed song and then two separate songs that it came from) and honestly it just led me to being mad they were mixed for a while until I got used to the mixed version. I wonder if I would have felt the same if O.O we’re released this way.
At JYP HQ: "Ok guys, NMIXX original concept clearly has not worked. Let's cut these original songs e fill some spaces with the good old rap". Sorry, NMIXX, we were not ready to you...
If they tired in 2 days shows then they are weak. In future they have to do lot concerts not even fanmeeting. They are exercising and eating good so they are good But need proper rest too.
