Sometimes I feel very weird. I'm very happy with my life. A good family, great loving partner, job that I love, office that I enjoy alot. But sometimes I feel weird, I felt very left out I don't know why. Somehow this emptiness feelings hit me. Then I surf through these kind of music. All I want is to cry. Cry my heart out. But I usually enjoy everything so cant tear up.
I know exactly the way you feel because I feel the same way. I have a theory, perhaps there is some truth to this past lives idea and perhaps certain Raags allow us to connect to past lives emotionally and we feel a glimpse of the trauma from those lives. lol I know its half baked but I have no other explanation of why I feel the way I feel when i go down the classical music rabbit hole on youtube.
@@AliZee909 I totally agree here. Sometimes I am confused about why only a certain raga or type of music affects me while the rest don't even work on my mood. This had a lot to do with not just music but similar architect or culture and people, and all these are in sync thou
Hey Soham, i understand what you're saying but by creating groups again we're being a bit rigid. Let this friendship flow by meeting randomly from one comment section to another, from one musical classic to another...
This song was made for his voice. It is the first thought comes to my mind every time i hear the song. His voice is crystal clear. Bashir sahab ki awaz bani rahe
Am sorry. I beg to differ. No disrespect to the legend but this song needed a soothing voice like female counterpart shreya ghoshal. His voice is matured
@@anonymoussoul7409 close your eyes and with headphones listen once more to the power of his refined voice in the original song. No disrespect to Shreya ji, but it’s not even close. There are other female singers who could have done Sheeya’s part. But without Javed sir, it wouldn’t be the same song.
Kise ne aa kaha majnu tujhe Allah bulata hai to majnu josh wahashat mein ajab kissa sunta hai are nadan bhala ye qehz khuda ke pass kyu jaye khuda ko agar hain zaroorat to laila ban ke aye!!! these lines🤩🤩
Music has no religion or boundary its a very true saying. Ustad Javed Bashir- what a legendary singer his Hindustani Classical vocal is just marvelous. He truly deserves a standing ovation. lots of respect for such legendary singers.. his voice quality is just so serene n powerful at the same time it just touches a chord. Love and respect from INDIA.
The expression and dynamics with which Javed Bhai rendered 'HALKE HALKE' reminds me of The Legend Rafi Saheb. One simply experiences meaning of the WORD, like when Rafi sings Tu Kaha yeh bathaa es, 'NASHEELI, raath mein.. There can't be any better interpretertaion to those words.
Kya Awaaz paayi hai wah Javed Bashir Ustadji ! The use of Saxophone and Tabla was just superb. Also the raag was well chosen, very melodious. Reminds of the music of Ustad Bismillah Khan's shehnai. That would have been a great addition to this Hindustani music rendition.
4:37 "Mala main aa tujhku pirulun, tujhay pehnu sajan..." the whole stanza (bund) is so difficult that many can't even say it just normally, like without pausing in between and then this Legend delivered it with such a mastery that, he never paused or stopped and kept all the necessary signing/voice notes in check. All during live singing. So smoothly like how water makes it's way through anywhere without any difficulty. 🙌🙌🙌 I can't recall anyone other than Abida Parveen, who can deal with such a poetry with utmost ease and do justice to such to such a difficult poetry/words. ❤️
It was at 4 o clock in the morning. We partyed whole night in Kanha national park with close friends and then went on a long drive while listening this song. My God, that drive was so sublime. Like we were floating on the air. One day will attend his live session
What a surprise! Didn't expect to see your comment here, sir. So glad to know about your mesmerising experience, I am sure it has inspired many others here. - A fellow Quoran
That would be me. He jams live like no one else today. I wish he would do it entirely with traditional instruments rather than electronica. I’m kinda purist.
woww... just awestrucked... what lyrics, what music, perfect selection of the singer, aur kya khoob nibhaya h bashir sahab ne.. ahhh.. ise kahte h sukoon.. "mala pe aa tujhko piro lu..... " what a line... leaving the comment so that everytime someone likes this.. i comeback to get this soothing again...
Ok, weird question.....but has anyone seen that little kid behind Ustad Javed Bashir....He's playing a cajone and damn, the way he's observing everyone, keeping pace with the maestro, IDK why but I'm getting pure musician vibes from that guy....soo pure and innocent.
@@arnoldschafernaker512 before 1947 there was no India or Pakistan. Both Indian land and Pakistan land has history of thousands of years bro, stop comparing it like that and learn to love. Peace ❤️
Last year, in a show called ARRived, where one & only AR Rahaman sir was on the judge's seat. There in an episode, two teenage girls sang this song, so beautifully that I have no words to explain their singing skill. People who love this song please search by O Rangrez in ARRived & listen to those two teenage girls. Javed sir is a gem, I agree but they are also two good.
@@theoneonlyreview20 jee haan we love Pakistani's except their government and some bikau media and kuchh kattar log... Wese india mai bhi kuchh bikau media hai or kuch neta bhi and kuchh kattar log bhi to aap unhe chhod kar baki indians pe trust kar skte hain . So lets ignore those stupids and enjoy and appreciate the good things of both countries. Like music ,cricket , food , "Dharm" and most important humanity Blessings from india
Not only Indians, I am Mexican and I love him a lot, his voice is amazing and his music too. He is completely a star because he also is musician and sings too. 😍
I am unable to stop you from listening you Ustad Bashir i am feeling to hard to find meaning of parshi words as being Nepali but the melody and the words i understand are just marvelous .. your intense feel while singing is just similar as FRAGNANCE IN GOLD.. Huge respect from Nepal.
@@pratiktandel5706 it's not like that. Go and give a search for classical and semi classical singers you'll know what heights singers of our country have reached. The best Pakistani music has to offer revolves around ghazals and qawwalis but Indian music goes far ahead with khyals, thumris, bhajans, dhrupad, etc. Our culture is anyday far more rich and ancient.
@@sanatani_girl01excuse me, but you surely missed a quality music from pakistan about all these khyals, thumri, especially the ustads like bade ghulam ali khan, salamat ali, and legacies of many of these including many of other gharanas. I am not comparing any music legacy here but i can bet whoever legend you have in your mind regarding classic, semiclassica, will be the followers of the mighty music gharaanas of pakistan. And related to religious singing as u mentioned about bhajans etc, blv me i need a day to write about that.
Thank you ustad javed bashir ji for giving such a beautiful song... to the world.... I have been listening to this song since 2nd wave of corona occured in India.... And still... I couldn't getting over it... You have got such a heavenly voice sir... 💓💓💓
Yd ni kitni baar sunn chuki hu y song .....jbb se suna h.... favorite ❤️ list m add hogya ....I really lv this song...Thank you very much...itni khubsurt gayki k liye.
The magic begin in 6:57 between javiad basheer sahb and musician both re fully concentrate to his masterpiece..... classical singing is my fvt singing.....
Musician legends who not only give their audience peace by their music, but also include them in their songs. Its like along with him, his audience and the us before the screen are singing together.
What horrible audience! If an artist of his calibre has to beg audience to join in that many times, it's the wrong audience to perform in front of! And 750 dislikes, must be the audience showing their dissent to this legend!
Listening to this masterpiece every day for the last 6 months. Every day brings in new joy, new nuance of the song. The voice modulation, quality, passion is unmatched. Had I been there during the live performance I would have been on my feet the whole time.
God, this song was already so amazing when heard for the first time. I cant even think of how magical an experience it would have been to listen it live from the ustad himself.
When you don't care about the performance, the views, nothing matters but you and your music; that's when magic happens. Javed Bashir lets rip on this, extending a 4-minute playback to a staggering 14 minutes, simply because he feels like it; simply because he's in his zone. One of the best interpretations of this song anywhere.
