O Scale modeler Joe Laughman's logging layout featured in O Gauge Magazine. The small layout is superbly detailed, with an MTH Premier Climax as the center of attention on the action packed Hi-Rail layout. Running along side the "standard gauge" line is a narrow gauge, On30 line, with one of Bachmann's On30 2-6-0 Moguls keeping a slower pace on the rough narrow gauge track work.,

Nice climax I want one but they don’t make them anymore

MTH makes models in production runs, not a constant stream of new models like a TV factory. MTH did release an updated Proto Sound 3.0 version of the Climax model a few years ago, and its likely they will release another run in the future of the Climax, though it could be years until the next run of Climax models.

@@dynamoscale I hope they do I’ve been looking for a climax for a while and I have a Lionel hiesler and a k line Shay and all I need is the MTH climax to complete the geared locomotive part of my collection.
