Former chief of police in the City of Oakland LeRonne Armstrong is defending his performance saying his firing on Wednesday is wrong and that it was unfair. Mayor Sheng Thao announced her decision to fire Armstrong without cause, following reports his department did not properly investigate misconduct.

The mayor said we need to reform toward constitutional policing. Armstrong is a reformer but it's too little of a reform. Too many in the department protect and cover for each other instead of upholding their oath to the Constitution.

We need our local Political Offices to pass a law that states it is practicing as a Traitor to refuse service to American Citizens without reasonable reasons and probable cause. A mayor should not be able to separate without cause. If she wants transparency, she should lead with transparency and make her cause official. After reading the alleged offenses by the officer , I’m deeply concerned that the mayor believes this is a higher priority than addressing the crime that’s terrorizing residents.

Imagine yourself working somewhere, and a co-worker commits a hit-and-run in a company vehicle and shoots off a gun in your workplace, then takes the ammunition and throws it off the bay-bridge, and your supervisor does nothing?! The citizens of Oakland wanted transparency. Now they have transparency, and a handful of people are upset with the outcome of police department transparency 🤣Also, I liked him as Cheif, but to me, this is common sense result.
