Their child-rearing practices and skills mixed with their unparalleled work ethic are second to none. Because nothing is ever actually free, you're always paying for it. You either work with user pays or you up taxes to pay for it that way. There's no such thing as a free lunch. No one has a magic money tree
@@bluechex7881 except it isn't. The city comes and cleans it up, that isn't free everyone including the dumpers pays for it. The more they have to do it the higher the taxes and rates will be.
Been a problem for decades. It is too expensive for poor people to pay to take things to the dump But the city can't collect enough taxes to pay for either pickup or free dump stations. I have no idea how they can fix this. I moved out over a decade ago. I live in a rich city now I get 2 dump vouchers per year. They pick up my junk
That’s dumb, all CA cities offer free trash days. Let’s not blame economics, CA spends way too much on fee crap for homeless and creating less productive people.
They do the biannual free trash pickups here in Oakland, ya knucklehead. It has been a thing for years. Did you really live here, Ron? Dump fees have gone up, but hauling still pays well. Lazy and/or greedy people dump illegally in Oakland.

It's over 50% of the abandoned cars here that are stolen. So you're not entirely wrong- I have personally seen a neighbor abandon their truck after it broke down. Low-income families buy them at impound auctions, and if they can't fix it, also don't have money to tow or know the number to get rid of it (the right way) for free.
