Best kayaking glasses I’ve ever owned. The leash IS as annoying as you mention so even in the water I don’t use it. They stay on the face fine and are quite durable. I’m wearing them in my profile picture in Morocco after riding camels. Great for people with an active lifestyle and are rough on their gear.
Great for people who are rough on their gear? Yeah right! I kayak fish too. After a month and babying them, they're scratched a decent amount. I've had amazon sunglasses that were more scratch resistant. Sucks because I love the actual sunglasses but they're already scratched.
I love them. I do commercial refrigeration so they are a life saver when it comes to the white roofs. They have taken a beating but the only damage is scratches on the lenses. I’ve dropped them a countless amount of times and they are still in one piece. The nose piece is my only complaint. It constantly falls off and makes cleaning difficult. But I would still highly recommend them.
Just as I was thinking this is the only video where he doesn't complain about Oakley, you did it again at 3:42. And I agree. Their frames and lenses scratch too easily. Oakley has gotten "use and throw" these days.
@@1221Ralph sunglasses have gotten over the top pricey these days, thanks to luxottica. 250-450 $ for a piece of molded plastic with a couple of glasses all screwed together is downright insane. The only sunglass that I would recommend is Maui Jim with glass lenses that provide a good viewing experience in bright sunlight.
@@vijeeshmenon1982 wow those Maui Jim are expensive! I paid $130 for the Oakley split shot shallow water. I'm looking at Costa reeftom next with glass lenses at around $170.
@@1221Ralph haven't used Costa, but I have heard that they are a good brand. Hope your experience turns out to be good. I gave up on Oakley. They don't survive bike rides on an open highway. But I assume they are ok for jogging.
