Just got back from the Oakley store. I was ordering them online, but after returning 2 pairs (Flak, Flak 2XL) because they sat too high on my face, I figured I'd best just try um all on. My issue with almost every pair of Oakleys that I like is there's too much clearance between the bottom of the lense and my cheeks. Therefore, when I look slightly down, it drives me absolutely crazy. I don't have a large head or large nose, but they all seem to sit too far off my face. If I take the rubber nose pads off the Flak 2's, it's better, but still not ideal. I tried Gascan and Fuel cell. Both were better, but still not to my liking. Still had a bit of an issue looking slightly down and too much space between the lens bottom and my cheeks. Tried the Turbines but they looked too large. The best fitting Oakleys for me were the Batwolf, and these are what I ultimately chose. I think it's because my previous sunglasses (non-Oakley) were a "wrap around" style and I've gotten so accustomed to looking thru lense no matter where I look, up, down, left or right, that I just can't stand any other sunglass style.
I want to buy new lenses for my batwolf. Are these jade iridium see through? Can people see your eyes through them? I had black lenses and people couldn't see my eyes.
