Don't worry, he was aware. but he was cocky to admit. so he roasted everyone. and it's fine bc thats called r'nr = fck everyone. hope you get it finally ;)
@@Josh-pj7tq you're insane. Pearl Jam, Nirvana was still relevant even thought Kurt was dead, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, Green Day, there were a ton of great bands in 1994, I could go on.
Well in 1994 saying there was not good rock around was a bit disproportionated. The 90s was the last great rock era. About 2019 I do absolutely agree with him
Blur Parklife Weezer Blue Album Pulp His n Hers Portishead Dummy Pavement Crooked Rain Charlatans Up To Our Hips Stone Temple Pilots Purple Soundgarden Superunknown Alice in Chains Jar of Flies Nirvana MTV Unplugged Notorious BIG Ready To Die Nas Illmatic Oasis Definitely Maybe Pretty spectacular year by todays standard if you ask me.
@@ludrixte1938 parklife is a shit song and blur sucked. Most other bands you listed there are grunge, so yeah you didn’t disprove anything. Grunge was great in the 90s, there was no good rock n roll apart from oasis
I always wondered why guigsy has a microphone here. did he ever sing? did he actually try to sing backing once? did he feel left out because liam and noel had mics? (in that case does bonehead have one or does he just share one with guigsy?)
Hmm... Perhaps used by a supporting act? Unlikely Oasis were the only band to have played that night. Even with that in mind, I'm surprised Guigs is standing directly behind the mic as if he were about to sing.
@@BrunoHuerta24 Agree with that. STP definitely nailed it with Purple. But the scene in the States was it's own thing. Just as much as Oasis fit into their own modern, punk pop /Psychedelic sound. Noone was like them at the time. Especially in the UK.
I've never understood that criticism. Barely any of their stuff sounds like Beatles, especially the early albums. Columbia, Morning Glory, Supersonic, Cigarettes and Alcohol... sounds fuck all like the Beatles.
Wow, they have a few good songs. Butttttt that's it! A few like as in a couple of people, the two of something, less than 3. A few good songs. Their behaviour truly put them on the map, very agile and arrogant. Just saying!
They did not only have a few good songs you mong😭 if they only had a few good songs then how come there first 2 albums both got number 1, tell me that one, go on
