Nope,there are more than 5000 actuaries is India 500from iai + 4500from IFoA You should need at most 3-4 for a multi national company,like Lic.

Hi, just cover the syllabus from your school curriculum. Apart from this, they will provide mock tests and live sessions too, that would be helpful.

It ranges for each subject. the soft copy cost varies between Rs. 5000- Rs. 12000, subject to revision.

Syllabus mostly covers what you are studying in class11/12 maths, stats. You can check the IAI website for detailed syllabus. And exam dates.

Coaching is not mandatory. You can self study from the actuarial study material.
