- OASIS MAUKA -
A collaboration by team Oasis and Makai to bring a high quality instrument with the quality of timbre and stability that Oasis is know for at an introductory price point.
This new line of instruments have been built and shaped by the Oasis Team in Los Angeles and the tuned by David Galleher from Makai Instruments here in Los Angeles.
Mauka is the Hawaiian word for Mountain and we felt it is a nod to Davids excellence in tuning and having been one of our biggest mentors to give this line of instruments this name. The foundation and rock to any journey beginning in the Handpan world.
In Hawaii we give directions based on Mauka and Makai. Ocean side or Mountain side. In this venture we look towards the Mountains. Lets go Mauka!!!
