That's a huge ship with 18 decks looks like a complete city. Inspired by your previous video we have booked our first cruise ship for February of coming year. Well, the tour was very informational for each deck.
There are so many things to do on the Oasis of the Seas! I love that there is a track to walk around the ship. Makes it for an easy way to get your steps in especially on days at sea. And that was a cool vending machine. It was like a one stop shop!
The Oasis of the Seas is undoubtedly a massive cruise ship complete with entertainment and dining facilities including a medical area and even a library. This is indeed a place for relaxation and enjoyment in the middle of the sea. Thank you for this great presentation and informative video. Two thumbs up!
Very helpful video! We will be on the Oasis of the Seas in February for our 1st cruise. I hope you will post some videos of your excursions. Thank you!
I like the different restaurants and star bucks, casino and shopping area. The sports bar looks very nice. This cruise ship has everything, all you need to enjoy your stay and more.
Great tour! I was actually impressed with how many things were included in the cruise fare. The ship looks very nice. The Solarium looked bright..but peaceful!
Wow, this tour was incredibly thorough and informative! 😍 It's amazing to see how massive and feature-rich the Oasis of the Seas is. The variety of amenities, attractions, and dining options you highlighted is just mind-blowing. 🚢🍽 I'm curious, what was your personal favorite spot on the ship, and why? Thanks for sharing this amazing experience with us, it's really helpful for planning a cruise trip! 👍
Immersed in the grandeur of the Oasis of the Seas! Your detailed tour showcases a floating city at sea. Your reviews and information are incredibly useful and practical; thanks for the effort put into this video!
If you break down room costs per night per person, cruise lines can’t really be making much from those margins. I mean, come on…my oasis of the seas trip next year is gonna cost less per night than staying at my local Hampton inn! How the hell does Royal Caribbean make any money on that? They don’t! If you’re not prepared to spend money outside of your accommodations, then don’t go on vacation, especially not on a ship worth hundreds of millions with 2,000 staff that need to get paid. Be realistic! If you like a company and what they offer, spend some money with them. I, for one, will be purchasing plenty and getting packages so the company can continue to thrive, build new ships, refit old ones, provide services and entertainment, and continue showing people the world.
Nice tour, I’ll be on oasis next year, but I’ve been on symphony already.. lol that slide on the back of the ship isn’t as scary as it looks.. it’s over so fast and it’s really fun! Next time you are on an oasis class ship you have to try it! lol then reward yourself at the bottom with a hotdog lol that’s what I did.
RC should just charge the flat rate fee- they gotta stop nickeling and diming customers - adding restaurants that’s not apart of the package 📦. Just charge one flat rate and give us access to everything. Great video❤- 🙏🏾💯
A thorough Ship tour indeed. So many restaurants and bars. Two casinos, multiple theaters. The aesthetic is better than most Vegas hotels. Oh I would be at karaoke every night. How much was this whole cruise for the two of you? Was the extra food cost
Oh karaoke was a very popular activity, but we just like to watch. The base cruise fare was 2800CAD but then when you add the drink package and internet it goes up. We didn't do any specialty dining either.
ty for this detailed tour. I was on Oasis prior to them revamping it in 2019 and going on a girls trip end of the year. Did you have to wait long to get seated for dinner with My time dining?
Oh have a great time!! We made reservations most nights for my time on the app a few months before we sailed. Then if we arrived a bit early (even up to half an hour early) they would still seat us. So we never waited.
The only beverages included are from the self serve machines or glasses of water. So you can get some juice/flavoured water, iced tea, coffee, and tea for free. Anything else you need to pay for or have a drink package.
Thanks for the in depth tour! I have never been on a cruise before and you mentioned something that got me thinking…. A smoking and a non smoking casino- what are the restaurants, cabins and other public areas like? As Canadians we are not used to public smoking.
As a fellow Canadian we are always shocked when you can smoke inside the casinos on board! They had designated areas only to smoke in only - so only in the casino and in one area on the open deck.
Well, I enjoyed your review and the ship is a monster with many items to entertain, but for me smaller ships are preferable. Where was your cruise destination, looked chilly.
We like the amenities of the larger ships but agree there's something about the smaller ones we like too. We left from New Jersey and went to Florida and the Bahamas.
The only other thing I would’ve mentioned about the Central Park Café is that the guy cuts roast beef for sandwiches which are free. They are very good. I know the video shows him cutting the roast beef, but I don’t think you mentioned that they are free sandwiches. Also, there was no mention of the location of soft serve ice cream, which is near one of the pools, I believe.
Yes we missed the soft serve, it was always runny and not frozen enough for a cone whenever we tried. The roast beef sandwiches are definitely included and looked delicious.
How much wear did you notice in the public spaces as well as the cabins? Oasis is getting up there in age. I recently sailed on twice and love it. We are planning a family group cruise. Oasis is an option because it's a little less costly than a sailing on Symphony. So, we are deciding between those two ships. But, I'm wondering if I will be disappointed since Symphony looks great in both the cabins and public areas and Oasis is older. Thanks.
We noticed a quite a bit. Especially in the buffet... so many of the chair seats were stained and in need of a clean. The dining room was dated too. Our cabin was also kind of dated looking especially in the bathroom and the wardrobe/desk area.
There is a difference between the rooms? I mean except from the rom himself, like if you take more expensive room you get a better package on the ship? More things included? Or all the rooms it's the same thing?
I think there are suites and penthouses depending on the ship and also have "The Key" where you may get better amenities or inclusions based on that level.
Did you have to reserve seats or anything for like water slids or game shows I'm going in dec and hate carrying my phone when I went on carnival in july we just need it for the dinner menu (stupid)
I think that's up to you, but your cruise card acts as money on the ship, and typically it's attached to your credit card and you get your final bill at the end. We didn't use cash for anything on the ship.
@@TheAverageTourist thank you. Yeah I’m a cigar guy and I know other RC ships have decent areas for that. And I’ll be on oasis in two months and have a group of guys that are looking
