Cheers and thanks for watching. You’re not gonna have any feedback issues in a bigger room or onstage when you position the amp behind you. It also depends on what type of overdrive you’re going to use. In my tiny home studio I use a Strymon iridium (digital amp and cab simulator) and live I use amps and pedals. Nice one! I only did a little high-pass on the rythm parts but nothing drastic. What you hear is what you get… the pick ups on the NG riviera sound really good!

For recording I used the Strymon Iridium pedal (the amp and cab simulator). And from that pedal into my audio interface and from the interface into my computer.

Everything is played on the bridge pick-up. You never see Noel switch to the middle or neck pick-up. With a live amp, volume is key. You want your poweramp and speakers to work properly so your mastervolume has to be atleast turned up halfway or even further. Then you go to the preamp. That’s where gain, bass, middle and treble are. Try to turn the gain up till you get that thick crunchy rhythm sound and don’t be afraid to turn up bass, middle and treble all the way up (Tilt maybe halfway to cut the low-end a little). Its all about getting that preamp to work as hard as possible so 90% of that classic marshall sound will come from the amp itself. The proper use of a tubescreamer is to push the amp even further into overdrive. Not by adding lots of drive but by adding volume. So drive low, volume up high and tone to taste. The tubescreamer will make your bottom-end tighter and boost your mids and that’s what you want for your lead-parts... Good luck!

Thanx! I use the Audient ID22 interface wich has two great sounding mic preamps and a DI input. You cant go wrong with a tubescreamer into a cranked marshall🙂. The Sheraton is very similar.

I did a couple of little adjustments to lower the action… but I’m thinking about replacing the bridge as it keeps buzzing. Other then that its a very good guitar!

With a vox ac10 I would suggest a more “transparant” overdrive pedal like a Timmy or the Greer Lightspeed. Tubescreamers have alot of mids and cut bass for a tighter sounds wich works well with a marshall. Both amps will do the job if you know how to dial it in. Cheers!

I play the F-chords in C-shapes, and on the stereo overdub I did the barr chords (wich I didn’t videotape). I accentuate it even more in the outro to get a bigger sound. I saw Noel do that on Jools Holland and I like the sound of it combined with the barr chords. That’s how I approach guitar mostly: If it sounds good it is good 😎 Thanks for watching!

@@JelleKramerSongs I'm not sure why the shape you're playing would matter. Mixing barre and C shape is cool, but I'm saying the chords are wrong on that part. The F# Major barre you're playing should be minor, and the G barre chord should be a C or a C over G chord. I don't hear what you're hearing on the Jools gig in that respect, but you're right, if it sounds good, it is good.

I really don’t know... Its not extremely heavy. Normal weight for a 335 model.

Its a very well built guitar and the finish is great. With a hardshell case included I think its a fair price. They maybe could have used rosewood for the fretboard, but that’s no dealbreaker for me...
