Today, I'm up at the 24/7 Car Wash in San Antonio TX on Broadway where I'll be going through one of their 3 Oasis Typhoon car washes, uniquely paired up with PDQ LaserDri dryers. At one time prior to mid 2015, this site used to have 3 PDQ Laserwash G5-s systems all paired with LaserDri dryers specked for a Laserwash 4000 (I neither confirm or deny that the G5's all replaced 3 4000 systems at one time), but after that, the owner decided to upgrade all 3 systems with 2 Oasis Typhoons in the left and middle bay, while the right bay used to have an Oasis Baywash i5 before getting relpaced by another Typhoon in 2020. I bought the top dollar wash for this video, which at the time of filming came out to $16, and wash quality for this I would give a 9.5/10, undercarriage was great, both presoak passes forward and back (and from the front and rear arms) were very nice and thick, probably the best coating of presoak I've ever seen on a touch free car wash (or any in bay car wash in general), the wheel blasters did good, the high pressure rinse cycle was super powerful (and super loud inside the cab) and did amazing, the tri-foam pass was very generous and excellent (and the subsequent high pressure pass going back was great), the lava wax was fantastic, along with the 2nd pass which I believe was actually ceramic coating, and the spot free rinse cycle did good, now as for the old LaserDri dryers, they did do a decent job all things considered, but you can definitely see and notice that they have quite a bit of mileage on them, from the rough startup sound (probably due to a worn out blower belt), but the nozzles do still move at least.
