中学生の時にオアシスに出会い、それから20年以上聴いてます。 色褪せない名曲です。 2009年大阪ライブ見に行けて本当によかった！

I met Tony McCarroll (original Oasis drummer in this video) a few year back just by chance. He gave me a lift back from Manchester. I didn't have a clue who he was, just thought he was a driver for the utilities company I was doing work for at the time. I asked him about his driving job and he told me it was a stop gap as he was a musician first and foremost. I asked what instrument he plays. He replied "the drums". I then asked if he'd drummed for any well know bands. He replied "yes Oasis." He then told me some of the story behind them starting the band before Noel joined and then went on to the reason why they sacked him from the band. It seemed like there was a lot of animosity between Tony and Noel at the time so Noel kicked him out using the reason he wasn't a good enough drummer ,which apparently wasn't the case. Tony came over as a really nice bloke. Very easy to talk to.

One of their best songs. The best Oasis song of all time. Oasis can make you feel sentimental about a time when you are not even born yet. It's a song that gives me courage when I don't have courage. Noel just has the most amazing voice, and writes the most amazing songs.

6 years ago, I was going trough a bad divorce, separated from my kids, my life was a complete mess, one weekend I had to pickup my children to spend the weekend with me and my car didn't start, so I asked to my brother to lend me his car, he's always been an Oasis fan and he had a cd of Oasis in his Car cd player, and then I listened this song, and I had an epiphany, and then I said to myself, wait you can't go on deeper, you're free to be whatever you want and I can sing the blues if I want, this song saved my life of s certain suicide because of my situation back then, so I owe this band and this song my life, thanks Oasis and God for saving my life, now I have the best wife and the best kids I could ask for, my life won't be enough to thank Oasis for saving my life back then, this song means everything to me and everyday I play it out loud. cheers from Venezuela

This song is an absolute masterpiece. I remember the impact it had on me when I first heard it. I can never get tired of this song, and now my son absolutely loves it.

If Liam could pull this off now, orchestra and everything, it would be absolutely biblical.

I'm 35 now but when I heard this I was 17 and I felt alive for the first time when I heard this song. Oasis brought us all together. Working class lads from the North, working class lads from the south, everyone in England loved Oasis. Oasis broke (and will continue to)break up so many fights in pubs. Just play ' Wonderwall' or ' Don't Look Back In Anger' and everyone will stop fighting and just sing along (usually lol). You don't top the buzz of seeing Oasis live unless you've seen your children being born.

The best part is the second chorus where he sings “whatever” in higher notes.It was featured on a TV ad. That was when I first fell in love with the band. Goosebumps.

Liam is unbelievably, mind-blowingly gorgeous. I've always been a huge fan of those eyebrows combined with blue eyes and awesome layered hair. So handsome. He's older now but still as striking, honest!

A good pal once said to me "Oasis wrote the soundtrack to our lives" Fuck he was right.

I always feel wistful when I watch old Oasis videos. They're a great snapshot of an awesome moment in time. Kind of like looking at a Polaroid picture of you and your best friends having fun in your high school days. I'm glad we have the music to take us back.
