such a good recipe. I never had times for my breakfasts in years so this would help. Healthy and convenient

What a coincidence you mention that--it's my quick breakfast and snack too when I don't have time to eat. It's surprisingly filling and nutritious too. I hope you make some to enjoy!

Sweet! Never knew you could do that. I've done the same process with Almonds tons of times, but they are so dang expensive! Totally going to pick up some oats tomorrow morning! Thanks.

Right!? I make almond milk at home too and purchase the almonds in bulk to get the best price. Rolled oats are really inexpensive which makes this drink a favorite!

Hi Diem, a hot drink sounds very nourishing and warming. My Mom and I were just talking about serving this warm since it's been so cold, especially in the mornings. I am glad to hear you tried it and like it! Thanks for sharing with us. Much love

I'll have to try this! The leftover pulp is probably great for eczema too.

Another great use for the leftover pulp. Along those lines, I'll bet it would make a great facial scrub or cleanser. :)

That is so neat! Never heard of or had oat milk, much less think of making it myself. I've made soymilk growing up and can use the same idea for other nuts, but why not oats? Thanks for sharing, Trang!

Hi! It's much easier to make than soy milk as it doesn't require cooking. Tree nut milks, like almond and coconut, are really popular but I like plant-based milks, like hemp, rice and this oat milk even more. I hope you give it a try. Thanks for stopping by! :)

I have made almond milk before but I think oat milk sounds better especially pandan flavor! Great tutorial!

I can only use quick oats.I dont soak. It comes watery. How to make it thick?
@lowbee379

Hi! 1) Can use instant oat? 2) does the oat milk need to heat up? Thanks for sharing ❤️
@RunAwayRice
@RunAwayRice 5 лет назад
HI! 1) Yes, you can use instant oats. Reduce the soaking time to just 15 minutes. 2) You don't need to cook the oat milk like soy milk before you can drink it. You can enjoy the Oat Milk hot or cold. Good Luck!
