Today we make our Oatmeal Milk and Honey soap bars using the cold process soap making method! Because you loved the last ASMR video, we decided to do another with the unedited sounds and no talking. There is no music throughout, not even at the end during the photo reveal. Be sure to watch until the end so you can see the finished soap after cutting, as well as the packaging we designed and used for these bar soaps!
This is part of our regular line of bar soaps, available year round. These soaps can be used for hand washing, in place of shower gel, and even on sensitive skin, as we put lots of nourishing oils, milks and butters in. This bar even has oatmeal and honey added for extra skin-loving properties (exfoliation, protection of the moisture barrier, etc.)!
The video includes adding special ingredients, mixing lye solution into melted oils, the soap pour, slab splitting, bar bevelling, and a photo of the finished soap (wrapped and unwrapped) for an extra satisfying soap making video!
We love soap blending and pouring and we've heard you do, too, so we're trying to include as much of the making of the Oatmeal Milk and Honey bar soap as possible. Basically, all the stuff you'd expect for soap making (cold process, that is)!

OUR BASIC SOAP RECIPE:
40% olive oil
40% coconut oil
10% sweet almond oil
5% cocoa butter
5% castor oil
Distilled water for lye solution
Appropriate lye amount (please use a soap calculator!)
(Optional) Sodium lactate (1 teaspoon per pound of oils, added to cooled lye solution)
