Is it surely Bob Chilcott singing the melody? Because there are other recordings of different pieces featuring him singing the lead. And his voice, especially the high notes, sound much better there!

Oh I see. Yea Bob's voice is not great but I don't think it's terrible. It just sounds like he doesn't have very good range. His high sounds stressed and he has no low. However, he's a King's Singers so I can't really talk
I didn't mean this song, I've sung a lot of his arrangements in my youth choir (O Danny Boy (not the one this guys do)) and his arrangements are nice, but he has such a grating voice, it's frustrates me.
