Genuine Review from Chennai Pros: 1. Excellent Sound Balance & Clarity 2. Good 5.1 Surround through all connectivity options 3. Never produces any kind irritating sound & loudness 4. No distortion 5. To process Dolby Digital & DTS formats, connected an external decoder "FuTech FT003 V2" (3K) to the AUX2, which delivers 5.1 Dolby Digital or DTS surround with much clarity 6. Service is more than excellent even at Chennai. I had issue with AUX2. They arranged engineer and they simply instructed over phone to do they service, just to disconnect something to resolve the issue. Now, AUX2 sounds so clear with external decoder inputs to 6 RCA. Cons: 1. Only PCM decoder in-built. Obage may consider to in-build DD/DTS decoder also in future. (FT003 is a good option) 2. In-built decoder doesn't deliver real channel separation, so an external DD/DTS decoder is to be added to get true 5.1 channel separation. Even without an external decoder all Stereo PCM content will sound better in 5.1 mode with clarity and satisfactory surround & channel separation. Overall: Obage is to be preferred for its great performance and greatest sound clarity without any unwanted loudness and especially for being an Indian Brand. Indeed, it is the best choice home theatre for all homes.

PCM (L) is better than Dolby. PCM (L) is 2.1, 5.1, 7.1 can only transit through HDMI ARC cable. Even Optical can't carry PCM LINEAR. Low quality Dolby is compressed Bitrate can travel through Optical HDMI

@@shrikant6668 PCM ARC can carry 2.1, 5.1, 7.1 through HDMI ARC only, not optical. Dolby Digital, DTS, THX 5.1 can travel through Optical, HDMI, HDMI ARC. PCM (L), Dolby Digital, DTS, THX all are multiple channels... 5.1 I mean it can't decode DD, but PCM (L) is also 5.1 channel. For Dolby, DTS external decoders like HD RUSH, GEESTAR, GTECH, FUTECH etc. are easily available.
