I hope you made out well with the storms. Did the hurricane affect your area much? I had a vacation planned this week for Western North Carolina and Gatlinburg pigeon Forge, but obviously had to cancel that.
I appreciate you asking! Thank you!! Where I live it was just another long rain storm. In Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, there was some flooding, but most was handled without any issue. I feel really bad for anyone in the Ashville area. From all the footage I've seen, they had the most devastation. The southeast Appalachians took the brunt of the storm before it dropped enough water to make it here. Interstate 40 between Asheville and the Gatlinburg exit was taken out in at least one spot and damaged in many others.
