I'm just happy someone has finally put up a decent video of the sounds the SEM-Pro can make. RU-vid is pretty sparse for good videos.

I mean wow. These are proper vcos that just rip through the speaker cones. Those upper mid and higher harmonics are unbelievable not to mention the sheer bass underneath it. So much texture and ear candy. 😮😢

The great thing about the SEM is while the originals UNQUESTIONABLY sound better, the new ones are awesome and its marginal! The only thing you really lose is a bit of charm... but I do love the charm! I went with a vintage unit, but I'd buy a pro! Now they both are discontinued LOL- so are they all vintage now?

Which one do you prefer soundwise? I lean a little to the vintage one. Or maybe the vintage SEM was a little bit louder?
