Oberheim TEO 5 | Superbooth 2024 

I’m so happy with this Oberheim, I was never able to have the OB6 but I had a Matrix-1000 and had and Xpander years ago. So happy with is features and sound

The sem as variable and multiple pole is incredible

Just as with Take 5 I wish the design team had been allowed to do this as a desktop instead with a few more features at or near the same price. Respond to MPE, bi-timbral, modern LFOs (fade in/out, phase, "N" shot), 4 quadrant multiplier/voice with mix from it to filter, replace the standard NOT good digital effects Sequential slap on for $10 their cost with an analog short BBD for chorus/flange plus a long one for delays. Even as desktop that might have kicked up the price a wee bit, but it (and Take 5 ) would have then been mindblowing instead of just really good. The suits would never allow it because both already step on sales from the 6 voice cash cows too much.

It sounds great to me, also the take 5 is a solid product. Id pay 1799 if they had included all the filters like the Pro-3.

The 10 bass stations threw me off 😆

5 voices but monotimbral? SCI Six trax got 6 midi channels ...

Not to be an hater but is it really an oberheim? From what I heard the only thing that’s oberheim is the sem filter and everything else is sequential including the voices.
