En 1655, Diego de Sebaldos construyó un órgano. El primer gran órgano lo construyó Jorge de Sesma en Madrid en 1690 y fue instalado en la catedral por Tiburcio Sanz en 1695.4748 Los dos órganos actuales de la catedral fueron construidos en México por el español José Nassarre entre 1734 y 1736.49 En el órgano de la Epístola, Nassarre reutilizó elementos del órgano de Jorge de Sesma.47En el incendio de 1967 sufrieron importantes daños, por lo que fueron restaurados en 1978 y posteriormente restaurados entre 2008 y 2014 por Gerhard Grenzing.50 En el primer tercio del siglo XVII encontramos a Antonio Navarro de Sesma trabajando en el órgano de los PP. Predicadores, de Zaragoza y un año más tarde construye el de Malanquilla. Pudiera tratarse del padre del formidable organero José Sesma , que fue quien incluye en importantes órganos aragoneses los potentes registros de clarines y trompetas de batalla, y que trabaja en el Pilar, de Zaragoza (1657), colegio del Corpus Christi, de Valencia (1664), San Miguel de los Navarros, de Zaragoza (1664), Santa María Magdalena de Zaragoza (1673), Santa María del Mar, de Barcelona (1677), La Seo, de Zaragoza (1681) Teruel (1685), San Pablo, de Zaragoza (1686) Santa Cruz, de Zaragoza (1696), año en que fallece. The "Armada" of 1588 was battle lost by Spain and a waste?, maybe, like the thillions of dollars and lives lost in Vietnam by USA, the only difference is that at last Spain won that war to England and many more battles and still we had time to dance fandango. With the 1/5 of taxes paid by americans to spanish crown they paid the universities built in Mexico or Peru in XVI, the roads, channels and dozens of cities built new in empties spaces and many of aborigens advanced from neolitic to the last knowledge of Rennaciment. Spanish organs were built at first in Spain and sent to America, but most important organ masters travelled years later to American and built the organs in situ, and all this thanks to Cortés and Pizarro. But this is the past, what it matters is that today in Spain today and now we have a better standard of life than in England or USA, and still we keep creating good music.

max evangelista y otros aficionados de Portugal Los órganos españoles suelen tener los teclados partidos y así se puede tocar unos registros con la mano izquierda y otros distintos con la derecha, lo que dobla el número de teclados, aún así hay muchos de dos teclados, de tres y de cuatro. Ahora no recuerdo si hay alguno de cinco o más teclados, pero es más que suficiente. En cuanto al pedalero, los hay que tienen unas contras en forma de lenguas con muy pocas notas, a veces sólo naturales y también pocos registros todos graves que solo sirven para acompañar y también los hay con pedalero completo de unos 32 puntos, tanto paralelos, como en abanico y en doble abanico, dotados de múltiples juegos de todas las medidas y de enganches que permiten numerosas combinaciones y por supuesto ejecutar complicados solos de pedalero, dialogando con los teclados manuales de mano derecha o izquierda, ya sea en distintos teclados o en los citados teclados partidos.
