Owner of the characters here :3 Its about the dragon (yes), but instead of getting injected with anything, the guy that flashes up from time to time behind the dragon is mind controlling him (hence the hypno eyes he has). The needle represents the fact he's a scientist and that he injects others with the serum inside it. I do agree that this person is an amazing animator as well. ^^
