their bond is the most wholesome yet the most tragic among the whole star wars franchise. I don't know but I will always end up crying when I think about them. I wonder how things would've been different if Anakin didn't turn into the dark side

Kenobi has maybe a more sad story than Anakin’s. Loses the boy promised to him by his fallen master. And lives with that his whole life. Then he never gets to see the redemption of Anakin and is even killed by him. Of course in the after life all is well but his mortal story is the saddest imo.

This is a little late, but I just finished the series and came across this edit. I absolutely love this. The music, the clip choices, the voices, ugh. I adore the "I loved you" and then the clips of Obi-Wan and Darth Vader by the fire. Amazing, 10/10

It's always heartbreaking to think how things could have turned out so much better for both Obi wan and Anakin if Yoda and council had relaxed the code for the younger ones like Obi wan, Anakin and Ahsoka because as much Obi wan like to pretend that he wanted to be the perfect Jedi that Yoda, mace and some other must stick to the code Jedi believed him to be but he wasn't the perfect Jedi he and Anakin were more alike than either of them knew . Both had attachments that according Yoda's code they were not allowed to have and both lost everything everyone they cared about because council refused to modernize the code

This is spectacular editing. Every clip and voice over you picked was perfect. Love the song too (tho I kind of wish I could see this without the pitch changed song) but seriously this is so good and emotional I love it.
