How excited people were for TFA trailers is how I feel about this series. It’s like a sequel to the prequels and I love it.

The force is strong in this one! To hear *Duel of The Fates* and Ewan Mcgregor comes back as Obi-Wan Kenobi gives me goosebumps. As a Star Wars fan, I’m lucky to grow up with the Prequel Trilogy.

The way Darth Vader can just breathe and everyone knows exactly who it is. Most impressive.

i just wanna give john williams the biggest hug possible. this man has managed to craft two completely different tones for the prequels and the OT, and synthesised them both for the sequels. i just melted :)

Man the mixing of Duel of the Fates and Battle of the Heroes was amazing.

I love how Rick's mission is simply to get Embo back in something.

I hope the series starts off with him saying the speech from rebels: This is master Obi Wan Kenobi, I regret to report that both the Jedi Order and the Republic have fallen with the dark shadow of the empire...

You know how cool it would be if Cal Kestis made an appearance? I doubt it would happen but his story fits with the inquisitors and they have Cameron Monaghan who is an excellent actor in the role.

I hope the inquisitors fly, just to see the look on Eric's face.

The ending of Anakins Dark Deeds at the end with Vaders breathing gave me chills!

If Ahsoka does show up, she'll be like 15 years younger than in the Mandalorian. She'll look more like she did at the end of Clone Wars than she does in Rebels.

I like the inquisitors spinning lightsaber. I think they give inquisitors an edge as it’s an unpredictable movement and it worked very well in fallen order. It’s fucking stupid however when they fly with it

As a massive Star Wars fan I was more excited for Eric's reaction to the helicopter lightsabers

Music starts with Ep 8 teaser music, then initiates the Force theme which leads to battle of the heroes, then Duel of the Fates wow, then Battle of the Heroes again and that Anakin Dark Deeds at the end with Vader’s breathing. Just wow

Using Battle of the Heroes, Duel of the Fates, and ending with Anakin’s Dark Deeds being overlayed with Darth Vader’s breathing is an automatic cheat code. GodDAMN IM SO HYPED

Duel of the fates gave me the chills as soon as it played. First Star Wars series I’m hyped for.

My take on the Inquisitor sabers is that the inquisitors aren't as legitimately skilled as a jedi, so they need the special sabers to give them as much advantage as possible!

Hearing Vader breathing at the end just gave me chills, and the fact that Hayden Christiansen will be back is also amazing and letting him act like the way he wants too

Battle of Heros and Duel of the fates were so unexpected which made it even better for the trailer, they did a real good job. I must say I had hoped for Jason Isaacs to return in the role of the Grand Inquisitor but either way the trailer looks great and I hope the series will be awesome.

Watched the trailer before the reaction. As soon as I saw the "spinny light saber", I immediately thought, "Eric is gonna *love* this..."

I love that Uncle Owen stare down because I always felt like Owen was just the mean uncle who wouldn’t let Luke go to Tashi station or join the academy but that really reinforces that he loves Luke and will stare down the dark side to keep him safe

11:41 - The vertical sign in the background on the right says "Market." The purple sign above it also appears to say "Market." The blue sign to the left of the purple one has the top of it cut off, but clearly says "...ngan Snacks"... I can only imagine it reads "Gungan Snacks." The blue lettering in the foreground on the left also appears to say "Snacks," and the last two letters along the wall to the far left read "...et"... probably another "Market." At 1:05 in the trailer we see the letters "Hoss Mar..." on a wall... clearly "Hoss Market." So yeah... lots of markets and snacks. The rest is a bit too blurry to make out for me.

Little Luke was 16 years old in Star Wars rebels when we saw him... And this I believe he's going to be 10 or possibly 9

the trumpets near the end, I can't find the exact score they're from, those gave me chills reminding me of the old republic cinematics

I imagine the Grand Inquisitor change is just due to the practical effects with action sequences

Nice twin suns! Also to Rick's question about Tatooine at night, yes we have seen it a couple times, although not nearly as often as during the day. For example, we saw Tatooine at night in the Clone Wars movie (Anakin vs Dooku), in Episode II (Anakin in the Tusken camp), and several times in Book of Boba Fett (intro of biker gang, Boba and Tuskens in the camp doing their dance around the fire, etc). Pretty sure when we all heard Duel Of The Fates we all had that moment of "oh hell yes". Great reaction! I hope this series fully delivers for us all and that Kenobi is fleshed out better than what they did with Boba Fett.

I've fallen out of love with Star Wars a lot since I got older and had less time to enjoy it, but just seeing how hype you guys get over it makes me wanna find all the time in the world to be able to watch all these series on Disney +.

Looks great, I've seen alot of comments around, how the animated character's that are now live action (Ahsoka, Cad Bane) all seem off in shape, in live action. However in the animated series, characters that where live action before the animated series (Anikan, Obi Wan, Darth Maul) are all somewhat stretched/elongated to match the series animation style. So it's only natural to assume Favreau, Filoni and Team have taken this into account, otherwise every animated series character will seem streched/elongated in the live action universe.

You know Darth Vader is an impactful character when just his breathing is iconic

I really excited for this show. Seeing the Grand Inquisitor and the brothers and sisters in live action is great, loved the Rebels show, probably my favorite if I'm honest. Never had an issue with the spinning lightsaber, just the fly part, it's felt so cartoony. Hopefully, it isn't another Book of Boba; really cool trailer but beyond boring and uneventful show for most of the run.

Not entirely in love with how the Grand Inquisitor looks (I mean, you had Pau'ans in the movies, a decade ago, looking way better than this!), and even less in love with him not having Jason Isaacs' voice, but I'm hoping to be proven wrong.

I liked Mandalorian, season 2 more than the first. I endured Boba Fett, even after swearing to not watch any more after several terrible episodes... But I love Obi-Wan as a character, as the gorgeous Ewan McGregor, and I vow to watch this show!!

I think the duel of fates song is fitting once again, George said the duel fates was over Maul and Qui -Gon that Who ever won will decide Anakin's fate I think the same is going on here with Obi-Won with the Inquisitors with Lukes Fate

I've been waiting for this AAHH! Between you four and the preview'd guys I've just been sitting waiting because I know your reaction is always money. So amazing! I love how Eric immediately recognized Duel of the Fates just from the beginning notes. The guys teasing Eric about the heliblades makes me laugh so hard.

As spinning lightsabers goes, they better not do helicopter sabers, I don't care as long as they don't have those stupid things, luckily since it's live action they almost definitely won't do it

Has anyone else had the thought that the guy in the alley with the blaster might be Cassian Andor from Rogue One? He'd be a Rebel operative at this point in the timeline yes?

Might be a little with this but with each episode they say is one hour plus, this gives viewers a 6+ hour arc, which would basically make this a Kenobi Trilogy; I'd love for it to be broken down into three acts, with each being two episodes

Obi-Wan looks like Qui-Gon the way he is dressed. I’m glad we can see shots of young Luke, Owen and Beru Lars, and parts of Tatooine. Potential Watto return? Maybe we can see Owen and Beru forbidding Obi-Wan from training Luke. When the Grand Inquisitor with his spinning lightsaber showed up, I just screamed “INQUISITORS!” I hope they can explain how Obi-Wan managed to stay hidden despite Inquisitors knowing he was there, and how they found out.

After watching this trailer a few times, the use of Battle of the Heroes at the start and Anakin’s Dark Deeds and the end and Duel of the Fates in the middle just punches me in the gut I love it. That’s John Williams Baby!!!

I was lowkey hoping for a quick cameo with a ghost force of Qui-Gon at the end. Just imagine Liam Neeson's Voice. "You seem troubled Obi-Wan" "Mastah" And cut to title card!

DUEL OF THE FATES & BATTLE OF THE HEROES showing up was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!

It's the 5th Brother. And the Grand Inquisitor. They look different, but we're used to seeing them in the hyper-stylized Rebels context. Even lightsabers look different, more skinny, and pointed, in Rebels. Live-action is, of course, going to be different. (It's a nit-pick lol so, relax guys. ✌)

The Inquisitor they pause the picture at around 3:27-3:33 is British actor Rupert Friend who was in Homeland as well as Hitman: Agent 47. I think this trailer looks decent and I will be watching the show when it's released in May. Now I just have to finish Book of Boba Fett, I've only seen the first episode of that show.

Ewan is 50 this year. Alec Guiness was 61 in ANH. Give Luke and Ben 10 years or so and it lines up very well age wise.
