Funny enough, the prequels _didn't_ ruin Obi-Wan Kenobi. There were a ton of mistakes when it came to how the films were paced: the awful love story, the _way too huge_ focus on boring space politics, and the direction when it came to Anakin's actor (because I'm not going to entirely blame it on the actor himself; the lines that he had to work with were just awful), but Obi was one of the few that was done good. If anything, I think his character (and actor) alone deserved better movies.
Alright, if there's a prequel movie that we _really_ deserve, I think it's boyhood Obi-Wan. He's my favorite Star Wars character and is far more fascinating (in my opinion anyway; others might rightfully disagree) than almost anyone else in the series. We got Vader as a child, poorly-executed as it was, but I'd actually like to see Obi-Wan as a child. The dude is just so damn cool.
Well the Ben 10 Vs GL one was stupid. But this one seemed fair to me. I have read the entirety of Naruto but haven't watched any star wars stuff so I'll take their individual analysis as being correct. Obi wan was shown to have damage output in gigatons of TNT while Kakashi's was only in megatons Obi wan was shown to be reacting in nano seconds while Kakashi's was in microseconds. So with at least a 1000 times higher damage output and greater speed (as well as resistance to mind hax) Obi wan seems to have a ridiculous advantage here. Kakashi can't even make up for this gap with his jutsus as he has canonically been shown to have a small chakra reserve when compared to others in his league and how his sharingan drains way more chakra because it's not his own. This is like putting an 8 gates Guy with resistance to mind hax and without any stamina/chakra shortage against Kakashi.

Ok after reviewing kakashi feats (with obito buff) the fight could go ether way because kakashi doesn’t have healing and physical feats as some naruto characters have But Kakashi would have dodge that with his sharigan they gave him the tunnel vision for no “F”ing reason Another things they didn’t mention is kakashi could put kamui in onto his shuriken so obi won even touch one of them he is done for and which kakashi can move a shadow clone and each can throw hundreds opun hundreds of them And kamui is fast enough to catch obi because it was faster the 8 gate guy which is way faster than any obi had ever done

@@phantomghost1615 no he went for the eye. And apparently in post stuff he gained the kamui lightning. There's been talk about Kakashi moving at lightspeed, but I'm not so sure about that. The lightspeed feats of all of them are subjective at best. Plus the debate of internal vs external power. Honestly most of this felt more like a overstating of the insane amount of power the force has compared to chakra in its entirety.

The argument was that he couldn't run out of the force to use where as Kakashi could run out of chakra with excessive overuse as The Force is everywhere. Not only that Obi Wan hasn't shown to get fatigued very easily. His fighting style (Soresu) is very minimalist and energy-efficient. Even if DMS was used....it may boost his speed but unknown to how much and even comparing to Kaguya is....iffy since yes she is definitely faster then lightspeed but by how much? Obi Wan is shown to able to block 3 blaster bolts in a nanosecond and comparable to Anakin who can navigate a spaceship going through hyperspace(someone calculated could go past 10,000 light years in only 16 hours. A light year in Star Wars equals about 9.5 quadrillion meters, so a ship in hyperspace could travel at least about 6 quintillion meters per hour....or 3 Quadrillion miles per hour. Or 5 million x faster then light speed) So speed is debatable. Power-wise.....i don't remember DMS really doing much against Kaguya without needing the help of the others. So while i would say he is a Multi-continent buster.....that still isn't impressive since Obi is supposed to be stronger(Heck Obi is supposed to be a top tier Jedi with Yoda and Mace Windu) then Yarael Poof who could stop a Planet from exploding, another Jedi could throw a fleet of Star Destroyers outside of a solar system in seconds(a Star Destroyer could weigh in somewhere between 24 and 54 million metric tons www.st-v-sw.net/STSWvolumetrics.html#mozTocId967234) or Grevious's armor surviving a explosion that could collapse the surface of a planet or Obi being quotably comparable to Kyp who can move a black hole by Luke. The thing that bug me in this death battle is that it was diffused on a May 4th(which is the Star Wars Day). And Obi-wan win the battle, i find that very suspicious: Obi-wan won because of this advantage. And for the pun, i guess we could say that Kakashi didn't have the FORCE to beat Obi-Wan. Death battle's battles go like: 1) other jedi did this so we are going to assume obi can too 2) luke said this one time and even though obi wan never did anything close to this we are going to assume he can play around with black holes 3) by the way obi wan is 70+ times faster than kakashi...take our word for it. 4) oh, kakashi?...he is lightning speed even though that was his speed when he was 12 and was able to react to fucking ten-tailed Madra and obito in the war ark. 1) Obi Wan is easily in the top 5 most Powerful Jedi in Star Wars History. So scaling him to lesser Jedi makes sense. 2) This point is also a little iffy I agree, but Luke mainly was stating that he hasn’t felt this level of force power since Obi Wan and Yoda. Meaning that Kip while stronger, can’t be much stronger than Obi Wan or else Luke would’ve stated that Kip was so much stronger than Obi Wan and Yoda. That’s just a theory though. 3) They were referring to reaction speed over movement speed. Even then Obi Wan has still proven to move fast enough to dodge lightning. 4) It’s not DB’s fault that Kakashi has yet to show light speed reaction and movement speeds. They have to take the feat that shows them at their best. 5) Key word, he needed help to take down those beasts. The fight was cool but I don’t agree with the results of it, they used feats from other Jedi that Obi-Wan has never shown to my knowledge and made it theoretically possible for Obi wan to perform, and I agree that Kakashi can pull in the chakras from his environment. This is a Ben 10 vs Green Lantern moment where they undermine Kakashi and justify Obi to win.
