@@lycan2494The whole Akatsuki played a role in retrieving the tailed beasts. What took them YEARS to do, took Madara a few hours after being Edo Tensei'd - despite all of them being in one place. Obito is mainly responsible for prematurely and idiotically declaring war on the Shinobi world - when he could've collaborated with kabuto to Edo the Akatsuki or whoever, hunt down 8 and 9 tails discreetly without inciting Naruto to learn how to control Kyubi's chakra. His actions caused that ending which confirms why Madara said he can't depend on anyone. The plot played out how the writers intended it to but let's not downplay Madara. Kurama himself told his siblings not to underestimate him, you shouldn't either. The writer wrote himself in a corner with Madara as well which is how Kaguya came to be.
