i was born april of 60 i only remember some of these actors in reruns.

Many advances in the treatment of cardiac disease since then, also reduction of smoking. I had a heart attack at 47, but continue on at 67 thanks to improvements in medicine.

A lot of people smoked then heavily and drank like Clark Gable who was 59 but looked even older as smoked cigarettes heavily and was a heavy drinker. When Gable did his final film he was not in best health and had a heart attack the day after filming was completed on The Misfits and died 10 days later. It was Marilyn Monroe’s final completed film as she died a year and a half later after filming ended while was working on another film of a drug overdose. Gable smoked up to 4 packs a day of cigarettes for 30 years.
