Obituary has it all. The vocals are none like the other, the guitars and bass is perfect and the drums are awesome. Obituary and Death: greatest death metal bands of all time.
I AGREE 100%// DEATH AND OBITUARY ARE MY FAVORITE DEATH METAL BANDS// JUDAS PRIEST MY FAVORITE CLASSIC METAL BAND// ALL I NEED IS THOSE 3 BANDS FULL DISCOGRAPHIES AND I'M GOOD\,,,/ I MEANT TO ADD SLAYER'S AND MERCYFUL FATE// KIMG DIAMOND'S DISCOGRAPHIES**
Some aren't sure what to think of new Obituary compared to old stuff but I figured it out; listen to the new CD really loud and it's 100% better. I know that sounds funny but this is one band that sounds better at high volume.
The left to die EP was fuckingawesome and the Ten Thousand Ways To Die single plus a shitload of live tracks but pretty fucking awesome too before they put out the 10th album
Death and obituary and you can't forget corner and Celtic Frost and deicide some of the best shit out there and Slayer they're going out this year so I hope that within a couple of three or four years in a bituary doesn't throw in the towel and call it quits I don't think they will but you never know it's really a shame about war Beast and rigor mortis cuz those two fans kicked fucking ass some of the best Texas thrash metal you'll ever fucking here rest in peace Mike and Bruce we miss you
@SlitheringHate when i said scars of the crucifix, i actually meant stench of redemption btw (bit of a non-issue as i bet a squillion quid you havent heard either of them cos of those dreadful modern production values or whatever it is you dislike about progress lol)
@Doogypoog All it took was your one upload called "deathcore doesn't suck" to show me that i'm going to be reasoning with a brick wall... Metal is like an apple, only idiots like the core.
@Doogypoog This name is almost 3 years old and has nothing to do with what I listen to. Mainstream bands will do anything for money, which is why I dislike them. An easy example would be Metallica, they were great and now they would probably make rap if offered enough money.
@xXxBuLLeTxXx1 you mean that 10-20 second long section at the end where he lets out a few squeals? yeah i totally know what you mean, i always disregard a respected band if they dare to include a section in one song that isnt to my taste. your talking out of your arse son lol
@xXxBuLLeTxXx1 having x's around your name doesn't make you emo "bro", its just associated with hardcore and therefore just makes you look stupid, im just givin you a heads up you can take it or leave it lol my speeeeling on youtube doesnt reflect my (or anyones) intellect, and i think my degree says i did pay attention in school. and as for listening to mainstream bands? i advise you try it when your older. aint nothin wrong with likin other music along with obituary/decapitated/darkthrone etc
@SlitheringHate do most intellegent individuals ignore you out of interest? try and compose yourself long enough to actually explain why whitechapel are a bad band (apart from the obvious "theyre quite popular so by default that makes them bad" bullshit metal logic).... i also doubt you'd find many metal pundits who rate 'legion' ahead of 'scars of the crucifix' although i could be totally wrong about that... have the courage to reply and try out some social skills, we're here for you man :)
the fact they never grew musically is one of obituary's biggest problems... i generqally enjoyed this album but obituary suffers in the same way as malvolent creation in that their sound never evolved. the early 90's sound doesn't hold up to the power of modern metal with bands like deicide, whitechapel and origin
John Miller. not that they didn't grow musically. they have a formula and they stick to it. some bands will take chances to change up a little and all of a sudden they sold out. and what is there to change about malev creation. they are mean and destructive as ever. why change? in fact their last album was on most critics and fans top 10 list
John Miller. and don't forget decide is not the same band member wise for last few albums. of course they sound different. not necessarily better but different
