Been in the the game for 10 years and never used lot of gold or anything just to get a new tank thats op...all tanks will be bad until next op shows up.
Also the amount restriction is just bad. Not to mention, they didn't really think it through, as they gave time for assembly to 1/3 of July, while event ended basically in 1 day.l
I like this tank a lot. Literally the best Russian ht gun in the game. Armour model is pretty nice. It's not an over powered tank but it is amazing in the hands of a good player. I have a chieftain so I don't feel the need to hoard bonds anymore so I dumped 31k. In that sense this tank is worth the bonds I dumped and I don't regret it at all
You can amuse yourself as much as you want by thinking it's worst than 277... but the fact is it's way powerful than a 277... in almost ever aspect... this guy is a CC I understand... but literally he is playing like a noob... not sure if he is doing it on purpose though... yes it has weak spots... but when you face an above average player with it... and he knows few basics... let me know how easy it is to shoot the weak spots... also it can snipe from medium to long range... let me know how many weak spots you can hit... this guy is literally standing static in front of numerous enemy tanks... and then saying this thing has blah blah blah weak spots... No my man... I understand you missed out... but don't make such ridiculous statements...
No matter how broken the tank would be it would still be overpriced. Refreshing to get a average looking tank instead of a broken one since the only people who could get this are wallet warriors or people with a lot saved up in the game. Events should be enjoyed by all players and I dislike wg calling it that instead of what it really is, a tank sale. I like the format they sold it in, should be announced with a bit more time before it starts and price should be lower/reasonable. Really cool idea with the numbers though. I didn’t even try to get it, I felt it was overpriced for what you got, yes the games were tragic today with its introduction and I did get slaughtered when I was in my E3 by a 3 platoon of them , very annoying. Well it looks like your day was like mine LOL
Definitely not op it’s more of a let down with that under belly only 30mm thick you get dumb shots going in and over matching it. The armour is good but enough weak spots to counter.
You do understand the cow players are the reason you get to play this game for free right... ? wise guy... not everyone has time to grind indefinitely like you... you are paying too... either by investing 'time' or 'money'... for you time is cheap for some money is cheap... probably you are a bigger Cow... in that sense...
And what if you are not in both categories i dont have time no money which i like to spend then what,and the game bas forces you to spend to get good,i understand that players have credits and money and all that time or whatever but what for the regulars who play 5-10 games a day at most,let have an example a regulat player who does not have time money or a lot of prem days then what then he comes prob to a whale prob you who has all the bells and whistles on your tank(bond eq,6-8 crews skill from grinding,full gold you name it) and i hate the fact WG portraits this game Free to Play no its not and the fact on FB that they have over 60 milion players or something ahaha lies just say at it is pay to progress or some other title that suits them not free to play i understand they need to make a lving but sometimes they overprice things esp the caravan even they said kirovets will be good bla bla its awful it broke me credit economy from that event i had only left like 1-2 milion i spend 20 milion on that tank and wili took me maybe 5-8 month to grind those cred back i am a older player still play this game since 2012 when i was 19 years old but now i just dont feel its not free to play maybe back in the day now nah esp when i get those 15-3 simulators and i dont have mettaa tanks(borat,progeto,skoda,chiften,or what ever tier and pisses me a lot when i get destroyed in literal and figurative sense in my tl1 lpc why bc those tanks are pay to get to have fun borat WG overpri him bas so yeah i can go on and on on about this game i can even write a book about this game but yeah and the title will be WOT Free To Play ahahaha

I am a developer and I know how much hard work money goes into developing enhancing and updating this kind of a massive MMO... and not to forget so many Servers and Services across the Globe... it all costs millions of $ and they have to earn... If you cannot gird and cannot pay either... then it's simple... either stop playing... or stop being so competitive and complain about others who can... Btw it is a F2P game... the issue is... you do not want to grind... and the other issue is you do not want to pay... but the most important issue is... you want to be competitive without doing any of these... you are the problem here...

Agreed it's not a Chieftian or an 279E... but I would rather play a 780 than a 279E... 279E is painfully slow and sluggish has weak sides and a copula too... also it will take me years as a Casual player to get a Chieftian or a 279E... while I can get this one right now... it's not an OP tank for sure... but not as bas as these CCs are making it out to be... probably did not get paid by WG this time... it is a very good HT almost one of the best... very well rounded in every aspect like a Renegade at tier 8...
I agree - as a CC he should provide a more thorough analysis of the plays he makes. I think this tank far outweighs the 279e for players like me! I haven't the time to play alot . I actually watched QBs review on the tank and found it to be amazing! Went as far as to try a CVS Optics build and get a smashing 500+ view range, coupled with the gun, its so nice! But i am only a 43% player and am new to the game, (alpen is again a weeb noob) but i do like this tank! Great review Max - but as a CC you can do better, i recommend a reupload with a CVS Optics build - it really is good!
Not many 780s on NA Central...I think the tank is just too ludicrously expensive for most players. The few I have seen tend to die within the first 5 minutes. Players treat it like a 279e but it's more like a Obj 277 with worse gold, better gun depression, and slightly better hull. It's a strong tank for sure but not OP imo
its a medium tank, i got mine but still have 50%crew. and the best way to use it is as a slugish support medium. feels like a combination between 122 TM and a Wz 114
Decent tank. All the fake outrage and narratives about this thing are hilarious. The outrage mob underestimates how much resources long time players have. Nobody I know paid a dime for this thing. It seems balanced
IMO its way too expensive for what it is entirely I was thinking of getting it but instead decided to keep my 30k bonds and 100k free exp for better means than this tank Seriously fellas, just save up for better tanks
I can;t get this. I think it's ridiculously expensive. Even after using all my gold, blueprints, bonds and free XP, it will still cost me over 60 million credits. Just can't do it, and I thinks it's very unfair of Wargaming. New players can't get it, and it's like free for those who have everything anyway. I'm pleased that someone gifted Max the gold to get it. Well done .
Weak spots it has a huge coplla On top that can be penned with 235 pen and up so tier 8 heavys can pen it if you over angle the sides it has shoulder spots of 255 and up so all 120s with 260 pen can pen it. Top has 50 mms of armor so all 150 mms can overmatch the top. This tank is not as Op as people think

Hello MaxGamingFPS, I really like your videos and I subscribed a few times ago ! Here I don't really understand why you compare new Obj 780 with a Obj 277 because, as great as it is, 277 does not have flexibility at all with his -5,5 gun depression compare to 7 degrees for the 780. It is a very important difference for the gameplay of those tanks.
It's the closest tank that you can get that is Russian. Yes, the 780 has more gun depression but most of the time you are going to go into similar positions that you can use in the 277, I would rather have the gun of the 780 but everything else of the 277.
@MaxGamingFPS Until your “final thoughts” part, I wasn’t going to say anything but now I just have to get that off my chest: It’s ok if you don’t like the tank, that’s you opinion! But saying “it’s not a great tank, it’s really not” is more than an understatement! It’s not op but it’s (really) good! I think it has good and obvious weak spots but so do pretty much all HT. Especially with really good HEAT. I’m curious about what you’ll have to say about that. Cheers
It’s my first impressions of the tank, which is why I never said this was a review. Maybe by the time I have more games in this tank and come back to do the actual full review and learn it more I will think it’s better. It’s one of the reasons I can never understand why content creators immediately “review” the tank on day one. You need a lot of games to fully understand a tank.
