I have to say, I have a lot of respect for Firemen now for their constant willingness to run headlong into collapsing fireballs. I would imagine they'd be revered as demigods were they to parade around in a fishnet suit with accompanying fishnet round shield made of gauze, worn over an asbestos gimp suit, living to tell the tales.

What on earth, you guys found the origin of snake oil and didn't even stop to talk about it! I recently saw that you can control the flame by electricity. Would that be why the net stops the flame from escaping? Like a faraday cage.
