Along the lines of the Matrix movies, different enough to make it worth watching. Interesting idea. An idyllic life in a computer simulation so real it feels real. But not real. Not flesh and blood. I can see how and why Jordan decided to live in that world. Wake up EVERY day after a wonderful sleep. Never any problems to solve or challenges to meet and conquer. Somehow, that doesn't seem to be LIVING. Unplug, I'll take my chances fighting the machine. If I die doing so, I die. Very good film.Well done.

This series deserves way more views!!! I really like these storys. Great actors so far, i'm excited about the next ones! You did an awesome job with this! Thank you :) As for these part, the end is sad, but i totally understand his decision at the end...

That's it, as soon as I'm done with this comment this brain box is introduced to my sledge hammer! Somehow I watched #2 first, and liked it, but didn't realize there is a series! The filming, acting, scenes, music etc. are all good, but I'll have to watch all episodes before I come to a conclusion on what I think about the story. At this point I don't understand the practicality and resource effectiveness of this particular totalitarian approach. The 11 billion people don't know what is going on, and apparently are not making a choice to participate, so there is no need to get their buy in. When their bodies die, i.e. are murdered by an engineered virus, why bother uploading anything? Thank you for the entertainment and thought provoking content!

Thanks! It is part of a series, have a look at the playlist "black box (full films)" but it's an anthology so each film/episode is a self contained story, not at all connected except by theme/style. As for this "obliteration" story, if you believe the AI, it said it gave a choice to the 11 billion people: either be deleted from existence or live in a simulation. People didn’t have the choice to live in the real world because, according to the AI, the pandemic and climate change caused mass extinction. The AI wanted to upload us to a heavenly afterlife so that we can go on with our lives, because it claims to be a compassionate AI. I know the protagonist accused the AI of bio engineered a virus, murdering 11 billion people - but it's because at first he didn't have all the information about this "secret government program" and later, he wasn't sure if he should believe the AI. Of course, it's impossible to know if the AI is telling the truth or if it had ulterior motives, that’s what’s interesting about it. You’re welcome, happy to entertain!
