The end of an era. For six versions and one sequel, the story of Treasure Island and its mascots have finally come to a definitive end. Thank you Radiance for finishing this saga.
This is how this cutscene should be taken! It references the long and exhausting development cycle of this game (And the tons of fanmade ones. Damn, most of them are made by one and same person, who desperately tries to forget about them). This is a really bittersweet scene for me. It really shows that this is THE END! And despite how similar this is to the Bendy lore, it's great by its own right! I will miss you as well, Henry. And I will miss Radiance once they depart. 😭
Ok, so, in 0:38 we see Undying as a red humanoid (he was one in FNATI Classic, Remastered 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0), then we see his Mickey Mouse mascot costume from FNATI 2020. He mentions that this has happened over and over. So, every FNATI version is canon and it's kinda like a time loop: Henry is killed and transformed Undying, Jake arrives as an intern and has to fight the toons but never gets to kill them and end this cycle, so it all stats again in a new FNATI. This continues until Henry decides to let go of his hate to be able to end MOTHER (GOD in the previous versions). He helps Jake survive, MOTHER dies in a fire, Jake escapes (and now has PTSD), Undying pursues his gamin career and the cycle ends since MOTHER is dead
Not everyone correctly understands Henry didn't just confirm every version is canon, but he also confirmed most of the fangames are canon too, and that's also obvious when you notice the offices that flash by in the MOTHER cutscene It's a universal cycle

Feels like this is supposed to be a sorta meta commentary on treasure island itself. How it for the longest time felt like it was never going to end and be left incomplete hollow shell, but all these years later treasure island not only was finished but got a sequel and a canonical ending to its series. Really beautiful stuff :) And in a way, it’s radiance also saying goodbye to us before their last fan game five nights to remember
For those wondering what I mean by radiance leaving. It’s said that after five nights to remember is released and receives patches encase it’s glitchy, that radiance will leave fangame world due to sadly abunch of false negative rumors destroying their reputation and making the members feel uncomfortable

When you realize just what this cutscene's ramifications for the lore are, it gives so much more meaning to the fact that Henry's name here is Undying. He is both Undying in that he cannot die, but he also suffers the same fate every time that this scenario plays out, never able to escape even in death. That also just makes Jake's new ability in this game so much more poetic. With Henry, he could never be saved, not even in death, but with Jake now, as the teaser of the PN Mickey shade said... maybe even death can save your life.
This scene hits hard. Especially for people who have been waiting for this to finally end. People who have been waiting since the beginning. 7 years, 6 standalone versions, a sequel and a wild bunch of fangames (and unofficial finished versions). May Discovery Island be put to rest. But if I had even a slightest chance of finally bringing her down, I had to take it. And then you showed up again! I knew this is what I'd been waiting for, a second chance! I started leaving notes for you, I'd been observing those things for a while. I knew how to trick them, how to outsmart them, I knew she was getting desperate to get rid of you. I mean, this was probably the furthest you'd ever gotten! That's what I was getting nervous about... you really made her angry. But then, you did it! You did the impossible! You killed her! You know it's funny kinda. This all started because they needed another intern to come looking for me. All that time, and all the times you were looking for me, I guess it's fitting I got to help you finish things. To repay you for that in the end. The nightmare is over, for the most part anyway. I can't thank you enough Jake! Truly. You might not even understand what you've accomplished, ever. But just know no matter what, that, she won't haunt you or this island anymore. Years and years of things most can't even fathom. Monsters, haunted costumes, nightmarish cartoons, all those things... finally over. Just like that. I think this is it, Jake. I can’t believe undying, Henry, and GOD/MOTHER got actual designs I remember when they were all just colored humanoids, undying was red, henry was brown, and GOD was white
Henry was always the one who went missing, always the first to meet whatever terrible thing that awaited him. The first to die, no matter how close Jake got to Henry it was never close enough. Until now
Yknow I feel so bad for Henry. He dies in every single loop, he’s worse than dead. He’s trapped within scraps of a suit. And even after the loop is stopped and mother is defeated, he’s still unable to die or ever move on.
Why is there so many heroic figures in Horror games that go under the name of "Henry?" FNAF - Henry Emily. He tried to put the spirits to rest and stop William Afton forever. BATIM - Henry Stein. He is capable of potentially breaking the Cycle, which could result in setting everyone free. FNaTI - Henry Miller He wants to put an end to Mother/God and the Loop.

Wait a minute, the same person who created Peridition and Manual Blast in the FNF Community created the Sequel to one of the most know FNAF Fangame ever?
I feel like the cycle is different every time, but ends all the same The original fnati had Jake kill his entire staff while they were in their costumes and then god gave them a second, albeit painful chance. This fnati is different in that there were no killed staff, at least not in the hands of Jake The face's line reflects the fact that some of the characters remember a previous cycle, hence his lines "You had a chance to finish me" "Why did you do it?" since he wasn't able to get behind Jake killing him and his friends even though in this cycle, Jake is innocent. Henry also knew of the previous cycles, and couldn't get behind Jake's murder spree Until now.
That was not the plot of the original FNaTI, it was the plot of Malrat's fan remake. Jake never killed anyone in official FNaTI lore (although ig the multiverse makes that story technically canon now)

Strange how they say its up to us to continue the story in the Oddities easter egg but the final ending pretty much tells us that it's over, the only thing I can think of doing to continue is to either bring back mother or introduce the "father" either way would sound a little too retconning or pandering. I'm at a creative lost for that, still love the game and ending just a lil upset about that fact unless I missed something.
Tbh Treasure island 2020 was a really good fan game and Oblitus Casa should be the finale of the Treasure island saga. A Thing i would love to see thouge is a orgin story based on the island itself and about Mother/mickmick how the S.S.A found out about the place and even How all the toons got created in the First place aswell. All in all i really loved Oblitus Casa. Its such a banger to end a game series with 😊
I honestly remember the first playthrough ever on the original game. Five nights at tresure island demo. Blew me away and I loved it. I followed alongside the game I even watched the spin offs. The nightmare before disney. Even five nights at tresure island end of disney. So when I found out the game hot COMPLETELY remade and a whole new story was made you bet your ass I was happy. Since this is the final game in the whole series. Let's just hole the original creator is happy with what he has made.
this ending left more doubts than conclusions Oblitus Casa was supposed to be the final sequel to Fnati, but this ending seems to introduce more about the island and the mysteries that take place there. is Radiance Team preparing something about Fnati?

It's really funny how the guy who's in the thick of this situation is the only one alive. Tbf we didn't know how he figured out the counters to threats outside of the calls given.
I never leave comments on videos, but I have to say this. I used to be a huge fan of FNATI back during my Five Nights At Freddy's phase when I was younger, way back before radiance made the 2020 remake, back when the game was in development hell and it was impossible to tell which games were canon or fangames of what was already a fangame. It honestly warms my heart to see such a great final take on the game with the 2020 version, and now with its official sequel, and I've heard there's even a prequel set after that as well. I found FNATI before I even knew about the creepypasta, and even then I never heard the full creepypasta until around a month or two ago. This new timeline honestly feels like it could exist within slimebeast's story. The whole "Corruptus" thing, negative emotion creating a well of power in a place where "imagination" is praised and encouraged leading to a negative spiritual presence, something that feels like it walked right out of the SCP foundation. I also like how in the mother cutscene, she can be seen briefly taking the form of a white humanoid silhouette as she says "I've always been here. Even if you didn't recognize me". While I like the name and design of mother much better than the old GOD character, I like how it's implied it's still her, she can just take on different forms as she pleases. It's also great to finally know what GOD is. And it's also great to finally know what the deal is with Henry/Undying. I remember some older fangames, like the ones by Malrat, had them as 2 separate people, yet some other games said they were the same. And can I just say that Henry in this game is awesome?! Like, I teared up when I first watched this cutscene and heard "And realizing that this had been happening over and over, on a scale greater than anyone could comprehend,", and seeing the models for classic Henry and Undying flash by briefly, it brought me back to when I first saw them in a video about FNATI back when I discovered it, and I would come up with all kinds of crazy theories as to who these humanoid things were in a game full of mickeys and Oswalds. Even now I still get chills every time. Finally having the one thing young me never got: clarity. It was like watching a cold case finally be solved when you least expected it, when you had long since forgotten about it. While I doubt I'll ever get back into FNAF (though the memes are great), I have found myself getting back into FNATI, and it's even helped inspire me in my own plans for game design one day in the future. To anyone who's read this far, this probably sounds like I'm getting all worked up over a simple video game, and a fangame at that, but this was something that really brought back memories, and I feel has been finally been given a great ending that young me couldn't have expected. If you've read this far, you might understand how I feel. Goodbye. And thank you.

It makes so much sense she may even the reason the whole place closed down CCall the seats her children she was there from the very beginning she was inside the bolt waiting for the player to open it and if this is the same person that was stuck in that mascot suit and got out that's very impressive
I see where the time loop theory comes from now but I don't think it canonized older builds as they had different stories and based on Henry commenting on how it all started I think the story states the same throughout each iteration (I guess this time Jake didn't go into the vault and die though if this theory is correct)
It's a bit heartbreaking, that undying/Henry, has been putting up with everything that has happened in fnati for so long and the way he says things shows a hint of happiness that he hadn't had for a long time, That at last he will not have to go through any more suffering under the direction of Mother, he will now be immortal Pepe at least he will be able to rest from the torture, it is a bit heartbreaking Just as Henry confirms everything that has happened in different fnati fangames is cannon , not all I imagine
Multiverse and timelines stuck in a loop only certain people like Henry, Jake, and maybe even MOTHER are aware of it to a degree Henry has the worst fate usually in almost all of them so

ive played through most of the demos, fnati 2020, and oblitus casa, and the story makes absolutely no sense, i didnt even know that henry was a character until i saw this cutscene. and i had no idea undying was some red humanoid dude, and i barely know abt GOD if someone can just explain the story starting from each version, thatd be great
Basically, every single version of Treasure Island is canon, henry and jake were stuck on a cycle on all those versions, until jake burned hourglass and MOTHER and apparently with that, the cycle has ended.
How tf did Henry die because of The Face while Jake literally got trapped in the vault with the Mother and survived? I love Henry but lowkey that's pathetic.
@@aguiyinwachukwu5721 True. I don't even know how Jake knew the mechanics for the threats in night 4 and 5 without any calls from the two stooges. And the fact that Jake can just go to the Pirate Caverns and go out unscathed while Henry got trapped for God knows how.
If I had a nickel for how many times a side main character in a game about ink monsters called henry I would have 2 nickels which I know isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice
I originally thought it was due to the fact that Henry has no eyes or ears and probably facing the possibility that no one is ever coming back for him may have mistaken Jake for a toon and tried to attack him before what he thinks is a toon could attack him

The game is fantastic and it's incredibly satisfying to see this series finally end, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't think the story in terms of the big reveal of it all being a time loop and all the previous versions AND fan games being canon isn't some of the worst storytelling I've seen in a FNaF fan game. It's so unsatisfactory and honestly just feels like the devs wanted to create a 5000 IQ meta plot twist instead of sticking to telling a self-contained story There are still so many questions left unanswered, especially regarding the toons and MOTHER. The main antagonist and her hoard of cartoon minions don't even get an explanation as to what/who they are and how they came to be aside from MOTHER's vague "I am the island" part of her monologue. Story-wise, it's honestly disappointing Tell a self-contained story about the official version of FNaTI released in 2020. No time loops, no having the previous versions of the game and the fan games be canon, just tell a story of nightmarish cartoons
the toons and mother are supposedly corruptus entitys (from the original creepypasta series) btw and being honest, i never really cared for any of the dumb lore stuff you talked about, im just happy it has a conclusive end. (and cool lookin characters)
From what Im gathering he died at some point from the first game but couldn't stay dead like Greg and lisa. And his body must be so "disfigured" he used parts "piece" himself together. Which is hella thrilling saying it out loud

old comment but tldr; every time jake dies or escapes the island, mother resets time but with things happening slightly differently. this means technically every single version of fnati is canon and every single fnati fan game is canon. but with mother dead, time doesn't loop anymore.
Hourglass is basically the Ennard of FNaTI; The Amalgamation of PN Mickey, Oswald, Acephalous, Disembodied and Impurity, they combined as a last resort in killing Jake, Henry basically went mad because he always kept getting the worst of things in each coming version of FNaTI, even once getting killed by Jake himself, hence why I think Henry tried to kill Jake. (which, to give you some context, all the versions of FNaTI, even the FNaTI fan games, were all part of a Loop casted by MOTHER on Jake and Henry, Henry got the worst of it, every. single. time.) But, Henry reflected upon what he was doing, and decided to quit it, he left the Mickey costume behind and found as many junk as he could to rebuild himself, and try to obtain the thing he needed and he can finally have; a second chance, a second chance to put an end to all the madness, starting with the cause of it all; MOTHER, he started by instructing Jake on how to survive the Oblitus Casa, and eventually, upon burning Hourglass, the fire spread amongst the Oblitus Casa, and just on the night when MOTHER took matters into her own hands, she got burned, just like how her children did.
One we played as Jake in FNaTi second Hourglass is almost every character from the first game (except Undying who we see again in this very scene, Face who is still roaming around Pirate Caverns on Night 6, Mother who Jake burns to death in this game, And Mortimer who reappears in the game)
