At the age of 12, you played beautifully. I hope you continued. Frank Marocco was a wonderful man and a gifted jazz accordionist. Around 10 or 15 years ago I asked him to make an arrangement of Oblivion for us amateur accordionists. I developed a long relationship with Frank and had the privilege of engraving over 100 of his arrangements. Rest in peace, Frank, my dear friend, and congratulations, Emma, on a fine performance.
Wow... Emma you are amazing. I bought the music score from Frank Marocco some fifteen years ago and I have struggled with it since but never mastered it it, and here you are, at 12 years and have perfected it. You make me want to pull it out and try again. You have no idea what a great influence you are!
Great technique and dynamics on this very tricky piece in the style of Frank Marocco. You have become a very competent accordionist, a future virtuoso I believe.
Great playing, AWFUL arrangement. The soul of the piece has been destroyed, I couldn't believe my ears. It's not an arrangement, it's "rearrangement" of a beautiful piece to something it is not meant to be.
I must object. The arrangement may not be perfect, but it is ok. However, the playing after 1:20 min is technically ok, but musically awful. Which goes not against her - she plays wonderful for her age - but whoever told her to play it like this. The left hand like in a Czerny etude. And all these interruptions of the musical line in the beginning. - she will grow up and play it better, when she is around 20, I'm sure ;)
