Trumpet: Matilda Lloyd Piano: Martin Cousin Recorded in Grosvenor Chapel at the London Sound Gallery on Tuesday 29th September 2020 During-performance multiple camera edit, but no sound editing took place
Well, it took me seven years to train up the pinkie on the fourth valve and I did it on Chopin op. 10 no 2 piano at first, so it is possible. Very nice both of you.
superb mastery, attacks, sound. A sound of a very beautiful purity. The slow movement is played too quickly. My regret for not having been taken into a deeper spell. You have everything...
I had read a few comments and was thinking that no trumpet players had asked what type of trumpet. And, on Maurice André there is not one type of tone on the trumpet. This is remarkable performance, especially given all the great trumpet players out there.
