The OBR 47cc case reed powered Rovan 450 XLT Frankentruck goes to the track to see if the new home made/home anodized camber links can take a beating and survive
Those links and the anodizing look great. Worth the effort it looks. OBR 47CC can be fun with appropriate gearing and tune. Mine isn't the easiest to tune. Good to see ya Brian!
turnbuckles turned out amazing Brian! Nice and beefy but not over the top! Just right man. The anodizing turned out great as well! lots of work on the anodizing though... but rewarding nonetheless. Man, the OBR is strong when it gets on the pipe!
Hey Todd, what's up my good friend? The OBR reminds me of a highly modified Banshee i used to have. That thing dished out the whiplash when it hit the pipe. Gave me a nice helicopter ride to the ECMC trauma center once. Ahh good times! Thanks for checking it out buddy
That how we like our roll overs, nice, slow and easy haha. That rig takes the jumps well with the heavy weight. Great job man!..love the purple as well.
Hey Alterd, these vehicles are finally starting to get toughened up so they can stand up to the rigors of my bad driving and live to tell about it,lol. Thanks for checking it out buddy
It’s alive!!!!!! Truck is beast!!! The links came out great!!! This video definitely helped me decide on getting an OBR engine for my 30 Degree North truck. Also, the shell on your truck is awesome, it reminds me of the Mad Max movie!!! Seeing it rip up and down the grass is crazy!!!!🫡🫡🫡🫡
Thanks Hobbyman! I'm not sure about the smaller OBR power bands, but i can tell you the 47cc reed is a top end oriented engine. Good luck with the 30 Degree North build and make sure you post some video. Thanks for checking it out buddy
