Check out this awesome video of Zeljko Obradovic and Sarunas Jasikevicius, two basketball legends showing each other some major love! During a recent game, Obradovic gave Jasikevicius a big hug and welcomed him to his team's bench in front of a packed house at Partizan.
Fun fact - Obradovic actually coached Jasikevicius back in the day when he played for Panathinaikos (2007-10, 2011-12). They've been tight ever since and clearly have a lot of mutual respect for each other.
What's even cooler is that the 2009 Panathinaikos team they were both a part of also had a few other big names who are now successful coaches themselves, like Dimitris Itoudis (Fenerbahce head coach), Andreas Pistiolis (Galatasaray head coach), Vasilis Spanoulis (Peristeri head coach), and Mike Batiste (Houston Rockets assistant coach).
Overall, this video is a heartwarming reminder of the power of mentorship and the importance of strong relationships in the sports world.

Seing diamantidis, spanoulis and jasikevicius in the same team is still hard to believe... 1 title in 3 years from 2008 to 2010 is maybe an underachievement with this 3 together

Yeah, I still can't believe that Partizan eliminated them in 2008 and 2010 Top 16 stage. But the true brilliance of Željko Obradović was seen in 2010/11, when PAO lost Peković and Spanoulis and still managed to win the EL, beating Barca in the playoffs, even though they kept the winning team and adding Joe Ingles and Alan Anderson.
