This is simple. There are lots of people with same background who even have the cards and are not Ghanaians. So when the officers ask you to follow up to the office, all u do is, follow them, go and prove your case and you will be discharged. But when you resist arrest for whatever reason and you initiate a struggle, there's the need for the use of a minimum force. In this case he happened to be a true Ghanaian, so the case is looking like the immigration officers did not do due diligence. But if he happened to be a terrorist and they had left him because he showed them a Ghana card, tomorrow, same media will come and report that the officers didn't do their job well. When you are invited to the office and your case is clear, just follow up and make your case and leave peacefully. If you are a true Ghanaian, why the struggle. Officers work with instructions, that's why he was asked to follow to the office where the order was given them. Let's help officers do the work and stop tarnishing the image of he services.
