I have been looking for one of these "vintage" Warn Winch Bumpers for one of these OBS Fords for years!!! What are the odds that I found it down the road from me and only had to end up paying $40 for it! I really enjoyed restoring this bumper and the results was well worth the time and effort. Warn really didn't read the room when they stopped producing those bumpers. I would love to find one for my 85 F-150

I don't know Cody, my '92 just got it's feelings hurt with that description. The Ford is far less brick shaped than the old Square Body Chevy pickups. They should be called shoe-box style.😆 Nice fix on the bumper, it looks great. Looks like a lot more fun than changing the water pump without the right tools.😐 Thanks again for your help on that one.

Big improvement! I agree, the bricknose trucks are my least favorite trucks ever built. You need to get one of those harbor freight winches. I hear good things about them.

Looking good! If you have to run a front license plate, you can grab some Maglite flashlight holders. They tend to snap onto the rollers of the winch fairlead if you buy the correct ones. Now you just have to find one for the rear!

That’s a good idea because by law I have to have a front plate according to WA state law. I’d rather run this bumper than the stock one any day of the week! Makes working on the truck 10x easier! Thanks for watching Wesley!😀👍

Way better than the stock bumper🤣! Can’t beat it for only $40. I’ve been really impressed with that $100 harbor freight welder so far. It’s been able to weld everything I’ve thrown at it so far. Thanks for the support as always Zane! I sure do appreciate it and hope you have a great week man!😀👍

When I paint black I use semi gloss black. It is less porous and prevents bugs & stuff from sticking to it. It washes up a bit easier. In your case you could add clear matte finish for the same look and easier cleaning. I know you like clean. 😂. I like that you kept the W in the bumper. As always, thanks for the fun.

Haha let’s be honest, Ford could’ve done a better job designing the front clip🤣. That being said I love these trucks too I’ve owned 6 OBS Fords at this point so it’s safe to say I’m a Ford guy🤣👍.

Thanks Daniel! I really like how the truck is coming together. I do still have the 97 Powerstroke. I only stopped making videos on it for a while because I couldn’t figure out what was wrong and needed a break from it🤣. As soon as the is 7.3idi is able to drive under its own power I’ll start working on the Powerstroke again. Thanks for watching😀👍
