Our Open House at the Observatorio of the Instituto Cervantes at Harvard was held on September 14th, which marked the start of the 23-24 academic programming at the Observatorio, as well as commemorating the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month. The Observatorio's Executive Director Prof. Marta Mateo and its new Director, Prof. Daniel Aguirre-Oteiza, opened the event with a brief introduction on the mission of the Instituto Cervantes at Harvard-which recently celebrated its tenth anniversary-as well as reviewing its important milestones so far and presenting their future projects. Following the presentation, we enjoyed our now-traditional musical performance by talented young artists from Berklee College of Music, produced by Javier Limón.
